"let me help you with that, "I told him, as I reached out for the stuff in his hands

"thanks, "

"you children know each other? "Mr. Sulkin raised a brow

"he's a friend from school, "I explained

"hmph.. "Mr. Sulkin nodded a few times

"Leah, who is it? "Mrs.Sulkin shouted from the kitchen

"Its me honey! And I've brought home a fine meat here, "he laughed in his raspy voice

Haynes and I laughed along then we made our way towards the store where we put the things to be.

"what's up Mrs. Sulkin? "he greeted when we both arrived at the kitchen

"I see you lent this old man, the help he needed, "Mrs. Sulkin jeered at Mr. Sulkin who was sitting down at the table, enjoying his pavlova

"sit down you two, have some pavlovas, "she offered

"well, I cant say no to that for I'll be in a great loss to have passed your delicacies, "Haynes chuckled as he pulled out a chair and sat.

I sat next to Mrs. Sulkin, nearest to Mr. Sulkin. Haynes settled on the seat on the other side of Mrs. Sulkin

I continued savouring the pavlova I was having.

"thank you for helping Haynes, "Mr. Sulkin said to him

"that's what neighbours are forMr. Sulkin, "he smiled,his gray eyes sparkled in delight

"and you too Leah, "he added glancing towards me smirking.

"had to repay this kind gesture of having me in any ways possible, "I beamed,chuckling

Mrs. Sulkin laughed a little as she shook her head.

"so,thanks for the muffin you gave me the other day, "

He just smiled

"how come you've never said any word to me before? "he
asked as we both walked in the garden behind the Sulkin's humble sanctuary

"I guess it didnt feel right? "I shot him a questioning look

"what? Is it because everyone knows me? "

"or is it because I was with Allison?"he added looking farther towards the direction where he was walking

"the first one, "I scoffed, getting a strand of hair out of my face,it was rather a windy day, my hair was everywhere on my face. It started to get annoying.

"wait, did you say 'was' with Allison? So you guys really did broke up? "

"I dont know, its been under discussion, "He sighed

We took a seat at a bench near to the flower bushes.

"wait, you knew? "he asked glancing towards me

"Wiley told me, that little jerk"I rolled my eyes

Haynes laughed

"what did he do to you?,"He asked

"long story, my friend, I'll tell you next time, "I said, shaking my head

I breathed in a lung full of fresh air, I could really feel the breeze pressed againt my face and I closed my eyes and smiled

I opened my eyes just to see Haynes doing the same thing,I was kind of jealous to realize that he had longer eye lashes than I do. But other than that he looked beautiful so I smiled to myself.
