It was indeed awkward to just go upstairs to somebody's room-Haynes being with me just made it more awkward I tell you
"Haynes,that's fine,you just wait downstairs,Allison might be looking for you,"
"you're saying that,you are planning to enjoy sightseeing the first floor without me?you're kidding right?Mrs.Sulkin designed this house professionally,"he scoffed
I gave in to his excuse and I went inside the guest bedroom
Just as I was about to close the door behind me
"you're not going to let me in?,"he intervened
"hell no,you'll just have to go sightseeing anywhere but this room,"I tutted
"Leah,let me in,we'll just keep the door open,you're not going to change your clothes in here are you?"he smirked
"No,I'll just wash my hair and face then I'll be done,"I elucidated
"then,I'll just sit on the bed while you do so,"He said
"you really are annoying,"I rolled my eyes deliberately

The bathroom was pretty elegant,it had a minimal look,walls ornately designed with marble tiles and the lighting made me want to stay in the bathroom to shower longer,the floor was cold when I stepped in,tip toeing towards the shower,I left the door behind me locked.
From the shower box,I could see my reflection in the mirror across me,
Hell,I looked like a mess,a hot mess.
Tilting down my head ,my hand grabbed for the shower knob and turned ,a gushing sound followed pursuit along with the piercing feeling of hot water on my nape
Somehow,I was grateful that my hair wasnt that long,so it was easier and quicker for me to wash the cream off.

The room looked just how I had left it after I went to wash my hair
Just that,
Haynes was sleeping on the bed,silent as a baby
I came closer to the edge of the bed to peek his face from the other side of the bed.
In a blink of an eye,he woke up and grabbed both of my shoulders and yanked me closer towards him
I screamed and fell deliberately on top of him,I pushed him away and I came rolling down the bed with an agonizing jolting pain on my left elbow when It hit the the varnished wood floor.
"s***!"I yelped
On the floor,I sat up,my palm rubbing my left elbow as I groaned.
Haynes jumped off the bed and helped me sat on the bed
"I'm so sorry,I'm very very sorry,I didnt mean to-,I really am so sorry,"his brows furrowed,his silver eyes flashed concern.
I stayed quiet,biting my lower lip,
"say something,where are you hurt?,"
He saw me trying to ease the exhilirating pain of my left elbow,he took hold of it and rubbed it too
His skin chilly as it brushed across my warm skin
He looked up to me
"I'm sorry Leah,"he apologised
Not saying a word,my body frozen still,My eyes didnt even blink and my attention drawn deep into his eyes.I was lost in them
They were so beautiful and hypnotising,a steel ring circled around his dilated pupils
How did I come about meeting this boy,one time he was just a stranger I wish to know and now he's here with me and he cares about me
I could feel a warm sensation on my lips and I snapped out of my thought just as quickly,deliberately slapping him for kissing me as a reflex move
"I'm sorry!,"I said in surprise
"You took me by surprise,I'm so sorry!"
"no!Its me thats the one who supposed to apologise,does your elbow feel better now?"he asked
Completely unbothered by the fact that I just slapped him,he was still concerned of my f****** elbow.
Why did I slap him?!Man that must've stinged his soft cheeks-no kidding they were really soft.
I nodded as the pain really did succumb down a little,his caress worked magic.
"I'm sorry for slapping you,it took me by surprise,its just that,I just know you,"I said
"that's okay,It was wrong for me to do so,but I just had to snap you out of your frozen state,why'd you stay quiet?I was worried sick,I almost thought you hit your head so hard,you had amnesia or some s***,"He sighed
"I was-nevermind,I was just trying to let my sensory neurons register the pain,"I chuckled
"I guess,you are right,"I added
"what?why?I was right about you hitting your head so hard you have amnesia part?!Leah,please remember me!Its me Haynes!"He whimpered
"no you jerk!I dont have amnesia,or else I dont think I'd even remember I fell and injured my elbow,"
"What I meant was,yes,you are right about you being a great prankster,You totally got me there,"I laughed,shaking my head.
He made an are-you-kidding-face expression
"thats not funny!look at what I've got yourself into,"He groaned
"what if you really did lose your memory?,"he speculated
"I'll live with the guilt my whole life!"he jolted
"oh my god,Haynes stop being so dramatic about it!I'm totally fine!"
"your lips are very soft though,"he smirked
"that's such a bad timing!you're unbearable!"I started laughing so hard I flopped on the bed
He laughed off the awkwardness and I sat back up
"no seriously,I might want to kiss you again,I know it sounds ridiculous,"He laughed awkwardly,rubbing his neck
I could see his face turning red and I smirked
he looks cute when he does that
Great,now I'll be the one addicted to him.
"there you are!"Allison cried in delight
"oh isnt this interesting,Leah Beckart!"she denounced from the door at which she was leaning on its frame
