This Is So Not Happening

"great! Lets find my friends' table," I exclaimed, scanning for them all over the canteen compound

"no silly, I just want to sit with you," he smirked

"please dont smirk," I laughed

"okay I wont do it again," he smirked yet again

"whatever," I rolled my eyes.

"so," I initiated as I took a bite off of the sandwich I had in my hand

"Allison and you are officially over?," I went on

"why do you care? Wanna try replacing her?," he smirked

"umm more like I dont want myself to be killed at such a young age, I'm too beautiful to die young," I huffed jokingly while flipping my hair.

"you are," he said blatantly, as he rests his chin on his hand.

"gee, somebody's being smooth," I snorted

He laughed and started sipping his drink out the cup

"but yes, we broke up," he smiled

"like finally," he chuckled

We took the chance to be caught being together at the concourse area, just because I insisted I didnt want to make it look so secretive. It might've looked scandalous and plus, the concourse had an open view so it wouldnt feel so intense.

Though, I did have a few glares from girls and guys-who arent straight of course,who passed by me. Some gave me their stink eye while other rolled their eyes at me.

Jealous much?

Then, there was Dean Inera, he threw a wave to Haynes but when I made eye contact with me, he broke it up as if he never knew who I was. It hurts my feelings more than having Allison pestering me about Haynes-it felt like you're being ignored. That's exactly what it was.

I started feeling anxious about Dean's behaviour that my mind drifted off somewhere.

"earth to Leah?" Haynes snapped his fingers

"oh sorry, I just had a thought,"

"about what?," he inspected

"nothing of your concern of course, Nosy head," I rolled my eyes

"why the sudden mood change, bipolarity probably?," he asked rhetorically, rubbing his chin while looking up the ceiling

"the more I know you, the more I realise that you really are annoying," I squinted my eyes at him

"well, the more you know, the better, lets see if you can tolerate this gorgeous boy," he puffed, leaning backwards towards the chair while sipping his drink

"not this again!," I groaned.

"where were you during break?," Noelle asked

"Umm.. I went to have lunch with someone," I explained

"oooh, who's this mysterious someone?," she oohed

"dont tell me you've replaced your own bestfriend! Hmph,"she bolted

I laughed out loud to her childish behaviour.

" I was with Haynes, "I cocked my head to the side, I could feel my cheeks burning.

"we were just hanging out," I blurted
