"so, why didn't you show up for your match?,"
"I had something to do with my mom," he replied
"oh," I said solemnly, sinking into my seat as my eyelids were already weighing down my eyes.
"Dean just sort of acting different lately," I rambled unexpectedly
"Why? did he hurt you?," Haynes grew cautious as he was now changing gazes between me and onto the road.
"no, no! Its just that, he doesn't seem so friendly anymore, the Dean I used to know is calming and comforting," I described
"and I'm not?," He pouted
I slapped him on the shoulder right away
"ouch! What was that for?," he winced
"for being extremely childish," I rolled my eyes while smiling.
"But seriously though, I just hope things get better with him," I added when we finally stopped in front of my house.
"thanks Haynes, for the food, for the ride too," I smiled genuine
He smiled back-the kind of smile that I know was real and his blue eyes sparkled under the sunset light that was shining through the windshield.
"no problem," he replied, scratching the back of his neck.
"well, I should go now,"
"right"
Just as I was about to open the car door, I just had to turn to him and said
"hey Haynes?"
I swiftly went closer to him and pecked him on his lips.
"bye" I smiled, turning away
"hey Leah?" He reprimanded, grabbing my wrist and pulled me closer to him in a jiff.
He slammed his lips onto mine and I was awestruck. It wasnt a forced kiss or the kind of one that is so harsh and vigorous. It was subtle and passionate. I let my hand loose to cup his jaws.
We both parted at the same time, our lips still grazing onto each other but we weren't kissing. His lips were softer than mine and I was jealous of it.But the idea of having him to myself is surreal and the feeling is way better than having soft lips.
Though, I kind of really want it.

I waved him goodbye as I watched his car drove away, walking across the pavement,I scrutinised my eyes and saw Peter sitting by the steps on the front porch while on his phone.
"how long have you been there?," I ejaculated when we met eye to eye, feeling busted if he actually saw what happened in the car.
He took a break from his phone and looked up to me while raising his brow
"So you've got a boyfriend now huh? I told you he'll like you too," He claimed with triumph up his nose.
"well, not really, he's not my boyfriend," I scoffed, taking a seat next to him.
"I saw you guys kissed, it was disgusting though!, but doesn't that make him your boyfriend?" He raised his brow, obviously confused as I am.
He totally made a point, I did kiss him, does that make me his girlfriend? HOW DOES THIS RELATIONSHIP THING WORK ANYWAYS?! Haynes didnt say we're in a relationship either, is it like a stated thing or does it just evolve to be just what it is supposed to be. Honestly, this is giving me a headache.
