"oh my god Leah," she sighed heavy, a  troubled expression briefed her visage and she trotted closer to me.

"I'm so sorry," she pleaded

"I tried to stop her," she mumbled

Scarlet twisted my wrist to check my wound and she hissed back in agony though she wasnt the one who's in ache.

Scarlet and Dean know each other?

Scarlet hugged me so suddenly that my emotions weren't giving off any response.

I stayed stiff while I was in her embracement. I saw Dean behind her, watching us

"you guys know each other?," I dared to ask

"umm... Its just..."

"we used to be in a relationship," Dean butts in.

"yeah, that," Scarlet scoffed awkwardly

"oh," I hummed, warming my hands with the mug filled with tea.

"Why didnt you warn me? I thought we were friends," I avered

"we are, its just that, well... to put it in simpler words...,I'm a big time coward. The slave of the demon itself. She threatened to put me in peril," She muttered, lowering her head low in shame

"well, how'd I end up here, and have you guys report this to the police?," I asked while rolling me eyes, deliberately

Dean and Scarlet exchanged looks and Dean came to sit where his coffee mug was still resting while Scarlet sat beside me.

"about that, we didnt really report her," she mumbled

"well actually, I did, but the policeman told me that this thing is just some typical highschool girls misbehaviour that one day they'll regret for,"Dean intervened

" or something like that, "he added

" you f****** told the police?, "Scarlet's forehead creased.

" if Allison finds out, "she panted

" why the hell are you so scared of her anyways?, "Dean's voice raised

" you're being selfish, "she interjected

" well, look who's talking, "Dean snapped his jaw gritted

" guys stop it!, "I countered.

There was a pause after the short quarrel and I let out a heavy sigh

" send me home, "I requested.

-

I stood hesitantly in front of my house door, I couldn't muster up the courage to let my mom be troubled about my problems. I took a glance on my phone and saw 21 missed calls from my mom and a few text messages from my dad.

Dean's car was still behind me with him at the driver's seat. He was too, still waiting for me to change my mind about going home. Slowly, I retreated back to his car and went inside.

"just send me to Thea's house," I sighed and we left.

-

"I can't believe Allison went this far,"

"what was that b**** thinking?," she hollered

"have you told your parents about this?,"

"nope, not now," I replied and flopped back to Thea's bed.

"does Haynes?" a faint crease appeared on her forehead

"nope," I replied

A phone flew on my belly and Thea was on her feet infront of me.
