Knowing that Harry and Hermonie were headed towards the forbidden Forrest, the four of us headed straight out of Umbridge's office and to the long wooden bridge heading straight to the main entrance. Our hearts were beating against our chest, the very air cooling us down as we ran onward. Getting further down the bridge I noticed Harry and Hermonie running towards us. Bolting faster down the bridge i per-pled myself into Harry's arms. I could feel his arms instantly wrap around my back. Pulling me against him. Pulling away from him I planted a kiss on his cheek as his left his arm around my back.
"How did you get away?" Harry questioned us.
Ginny smirking told him, "It was Ron and Cassie's idea". Ron and me exchanged a smirk.
"How?" Hermonie questioned glancing from Ron to me.
I pointed at Ron, "Ron gave me a look and i just knew what to do".
"how they did it, beyond me". Neville added. Harry smiled at me and his best friend.
"Brilliant". Harry exclaimed.
Neville nodded, "So how are we getting to London?" He asked no one in particular. Sighing Harry turned to face everyone. "Look its not that I don't appreciate everything you've done, all of you". Harry's eyes fixed on mine. "But I've gotten you into enough trouble as it is".
"Harry, were not backing down from helping you. were doing this because we want to". I stated meeting his eyes. All of us were here for Harry. We were here because we cared about him and we wanted to see him survive. To win the battle. No matter what. Even if that meant putting ourselves at risk.
"Cassie's right, Harry". Ginny spoke up.
"Dumbledore's Army's supposed to be about doing something real. Or was that just all words to you?"
"You don't have to do this all by yourself, mate". Ron spoke so softly, but with a firmness to his voice. Ron was right. The time for Harry doing things by himself had been over. We knew what we were getting into, and we knew the risk. Yet we would not back down.
"So how are we going to get to London?" Neville asked again.
Smirking i looked up at my boyfriend.
"We fly of course".Fear, nerves, desperation gripped on tightly to all of us as we arrived at the ministry. Though I had never been to the Ministry of magic, i had heard numerous stories that at times it seemed both magical and cruel. If anything i was feeling that cruel, troublesome vibe come across me. Especially knowing where we were headed.
Close in hand behind Harry, all of us raised our wands. Not taking any chances. And for good reasons. We shuffled into a nearby elevator and waited at Hermonie pushed the buttons and we raced down to the Hall of Prophecy's. A place i was more familiar with then any others. My father used to talk about that room as much as he talked about the dark lord. Something in that room scared him, or interested him. What it was, I did not know. Just like with anything that involved the Order, but my parents never shared with me. And it came as no surprise that Sirius knew what this thing was too. I was pretty sure every member of the order knew...except us.
The elevator, after a few more stops, finally made its way to the floor we wanted. The door ripped back as we faced a dark marble hallway in front. The lack of any noise made my heart beat faster. Just as worry set in as well. Somehow Harry seemed to notice it as he then slid his hand in mine. He gave me a slight nod, i sighed and followed him out of the elevator.
The hallway in front of us was long, dark and felt cold as ice. The fact that no light was coming through did not help to my fears. Whatever was down the end of this hall...I wasn't so sure if I wanted to know anymore. As soon as we had hit the level, something had felt off to me. Like we were not supposed to be here and maybe we weren't supposed to be anyway.
But we had to be here.
We needed to save Sirius.
No Matter what.
Blue flickers from our wands lighting the way, we reached the end of the hall. We reached the single black door. Harry titled his head to the side. His now dark green eyes studying us, we all nodded our heads. We were ready for this. We were ready for what lied behind that door.
Harry slowly opened the somewhat heavy door. As all off us piled in the door then slammed shut. Nearly jumping at the sound of it, Harry steadied me. I nodded to him as the lights from our wands grew brighter.
The room glowed to life with orbs of blue. Stacked all along thousands of sliver and black shelves. I couldn't help but glance around. All these orbs must have contained individual prophecies. Which one we were looking for that i wasnt sure of. Harry made his way threw the the alley and we followed behind him. Palms shaking in ancipatoon as we made our way threw.
Each row we passed seemed to be a dead end. Rather we would find Sirius or not...i was beginning to wonder. As i quickly glanced over to Hermonie she didn't look so sure...and as we kept going, hearing nothing but the sound of our footsteps neither was I.
"He should be right here". Harry stated at the empty space in front of us.
Nothing.
Not a single thing sat in front of us.
And i knew in that moment we had just done what the dark lord had wanted.
"What does this mean?" Neville asked still shaking. Him just was worried and fearful as i was.
Hermonie sighed, "It was a trap. Sirius was never hear". Fear had no launched onto her.
Harry shocked his head. The worry and fear of risking his friends lives by bringing them here, had now sunk in. Just as he was about to turn away, a particular blue orb caught all of our eyes. The cloud of dust swirled around as if it wanted to be held. Harry reached out for it and took it from its stand. I moved myself closer to him as the orb seemed to be speaking to him. Uttering something that none of us could clearly hear.
Continuing to stare at the orb a burst of cold air filled the room. Something was wrong here. Turning my gaze away from Harry I noticed a black cloaked figure with a mask slowly approaching us. Bringing my wand up high i let out a gasp.
