Even out of Hogwarts it seemed like trouble just followed Harry around. Whether he wanted it or not it seemed to cling to him. And from what I could gather about the whole situation I would have done the same thing. What were you supposed to do when a dementor was draining the very life from you? Just let them do it? I wasn't about to let that happened.
Most of the other members seemed to be in agreement with Harry, however as the conversation had taken a darker more intensetive turn, as much as I wanted to stay to know what was going on I had decided to sneak out in hopes that not one noticed.
I managed to almost to the top of the stairs just before I felt a hand wrap around my lower arm. Turing on my heels to see who had grabbed onto me I came face to face with the last person who I thought I'd see. Harry with his very green eyes stared back me as I looked down at his hand on my arm I could see my uncle poking his head out the door at us. He nodded to me and I let out a sigh.
"Your Remus niece?"
I nodded my head as I brought my eyes down to his hand still on my arm. "Yes".
"Sorry". He apologized taking a step back.
"Its okay".
"I'm Cassandra by the way". I added.
"Harry". He said with a smile. "Are you a member of the order-"
"No way". I said shaking my head at him. "I'm too young and besides my parents didn't want me involved in all this". I said taking a seat on the steps. Harry raised an eyebrow at me then proceeded to sit down with me.
"So your parents are members then?"
"They were members". I corrected him. I wasn't sure how much my uncle had shared about with the others about my parents deaths, but it appeared that he neglected to tell Harry or any of the other younger ones about it. He felt that it was my story to tell and not his and for that I was grateful.
"Were? Are they not anymore-"
"My parents were members before they died". Glancing over at Harry's face I could tell the he had regretted asking me about it, but it felt good to talk about it.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to-"
"Its okay". I said cutting him off. "I don't mind talking about, but my uncle...he has a hard time with it still".
"He mentioned that you look like your mum". Harry said trying lighten the mood.
"Just like he mentioned that you have your-"
"mum's eyes". Harry said in mocking voice while finishing off my sentence. A light chuckle escaped my mouth as I noticed both Fred and George standing at the bottom of the steps grinning at both me and Harry.
"Hello". They both said in perfect harmony causing me to shake my head.
"What are you two up to?" I questioned both of them as I crossed my arms over my chest.
"Wondering were our friends Harry and Cassie ran off to".
"I was just introducing myself to Cassandra". Harry said truthfully. I pushed myself up from the steps and proceeded down the stairs.
"Right".
I smacked both the twins in their arms. "I told you both I barley know you". And with that I walked straight a way from them and into the kitchen for some much needed lunch.

The last few weeks of the summer had come to a close and it was already time for all us to go back to Hogwarts. And I knew with everything that had happened in the last few months the school year was going to be very much different. With Cedric's death and he-who-shall-not-be-named still on everyone's mind darker times seemed to crept up on all of us.
As we approached the platform my fingers kept playing with my mothers key necklace. I was more nervous this year then I had been any other year and I just wanted to know why. Not having my uncle around to wish me luck wasn't exactly helping. This morning Tonks had told me that he had some sort of matter to take care of and that he wouldn't be able to see me off. While I was disappointed I knew that whatever he had to take care of must have been important so I really couldn't fault him too much.
Thankfully both Molly and Arthur had come to see us off. Since my first day at Sirius's home I hadn't really gotten to speak to Molly much, but from Remus had told me she had taken a likeing to me right away. He also mentioned that it was probably because I wasn't interested in getting into trouble, which frankly I wasn't, but a little trickery never hurt no one.
After saying goodbye to Molly I hoped on the train and made my wat down the hall trying to find an open compartment if I was lucky or one with fellow students that I knew from previous years. As I made it to the last set in the first cart I felt someone grab hold of my hand and pull me into a compartment. Landing hard against the seat I rubbed the back of neck and looked up to see who my grabber was. Hermonie with her lovely locks smiled softly at me as did Ron who was sitting beside her.
"Jeez Hermonie". I stated still rubbing the back of neck as Harry flashed me a grin.
"Sorry Cassie".
"You could have at least poked me on my shoulder or done something less rough".
"Well Ron wanted to do something for worse!"
Ron rolled his eyes at her.
"It was just a joke".
"And not a funny one at that".
I gazed over at Harry who just sighed and shrugged his shoulders slightly.
"I didn't see Remus at the platform this morning".
I shook my head at Hermonie as the train started up.
"He wasn't able to come".
"Im sorry about that. Did he say why?"
"Tonks said he said something he had to take care".
Harry glanced over his two best friends then back at me.
"Well then it must have been important". Hermonie stated.
