Chapter 26: Aftermath

Two days after all the craziness i had found myself sitting in the courtyard before my last class of the day Doodling in my journey as I heard footsteps approach me. Glancing up i found Harry. His eyes darted straight to my scare and i sighed.
"this is why i didnt want anyone involved". he let out a frustrated sigh as he sat down beside me. I shook my head.
"It's not so bad". I said trying to cheer him up. Harry's green eyes meant mine as he reached out for my scared hand.
"Looks worse then the last one". he noticed. I sighed.
"It was worth it. I wont apologize for it".
Harry leaned in. "I wasnt going to ask you to".
"I know". I leaned in and planted a kiss on his cheek. Harry flashed me a soft smile.
"Leo had them on both hands". I stated. Harry looked straight at me, his voice caught in his throat. I was just as speechless as he was now when Leo had showed me. Both his hands just red, irritated by the poisoned magic. Eyes swollen red, from wiping his many tears.
"Wait! Why?!"
"He punched Draco after he threatened to hurt, Luna. Umbridge took it as a violent act and decided that he deserved two".
Harry bared his teeth.
"And I'm sure Draco started it". I nodded. "Slimy bastard".
"That wasnt the only reason why he punched him".
I reluctant to tell harry the second why Leo had punched Draco. Mainly it had been for my sake. I knew that Draco had always despised me, especially since my uncle was a werewolf, but the very fact that he barley knew me and had threatened to cast an unforgivable curse on me....set me on edge.
"What was the other reason?" I sighed and rotated my body to face his.
"Draco threatened to curse me". Harry's grip on my gave way and he bolted up from his spot on the grass. Storming away from me i noticed his wand out for the world to see. Harry do not do this was all i could think as i bolted straight after him. Thankfully most students were in class right now or Harry would be in even more trouble.
'Harry!" I shouted after him. Harry didnt turn around. "HARRY!!!!"
I shook my head and raced to his side. I grabbed hold of his wand hand and pushed him to the side.
"What do you think your doing?!"
Harry's furious coated eyes meant mine. "I'm going to kill him".
"No your not". I said raising my voice. "Harry, your alright in enough trouble as it is. please just let it go!"
"Cassie, he threaten to curse you?!" Harry spoke up still steaming coming out his ears. I nodded my head.
"I know that, but you getting in more trouble isn't going to help". I stated firm. "I won't let you get expelled, Harry". Looking into my boyfriends eyes i could see his flame beginning to water down and i let his off the wall, but kept my hand in his. Harry let out a breathy he was holding in and nodded to me.
"Fine, but if he does anything i swear.."
I smiled and planted another kiss on his cheek. "I know". Harry then smiled back and brushed his lips against mine. Pulling away he ran his fingers through my hair.
"After this school year ends I'm taking you out". Harry replied as we started our way, finally to class. I grinned and pulled a strand of hair behind my ear.
"Like on a date?"
Harry nodded. "A proper one".
"I'd like that".

Got to write a couple pages in my history design class instead of taking notes..opps oh well I still got my notes done.
Ahhh...What they'd do on that proper date, i have no idea.
