As I was about to head to the great hall, a few days after the whole Umbridge incident I noticed that Harry was sneaking out of the hall all dressed in warm winter gear. Curious as to wear he was going I ran down the hall after him while also trying not to get caught by him. As I sneaked around the corner I noticed that he had just vanished into think air. Putting my hands on my hips I sighed loudly.
"Where did he go?"
As I was about to turn around and head back to the great hall Harry jumped right out in front of me. I nearly jumped back letting out a rather high pitched cry. Harry smiled as he bent over to calm myself.
"Jeez Harry". I said catching my breath.
"Sorry, Cassie". He apologized. "I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't being followed by anyone".
Leaning back up I gave him a thumbs up.
"Noted, but next time use your wand instead of giving a fellow student a heartattack".
"I will remember that". Harry smiled. I placed my hands back on my hips.
"Good. Now where are you off to this early?"
Harry' smile faded slightly making me wonder if he was getting himself in trouble again. As he was about to give me some kind of answer his eyes flashed to the almost faded scar on my hand. Seeing that his eyes had locked onto it I pulled my hand behind my back.
"Cassie".
"Its nothing. Don't worry about it". I stated trying to fake a smile. Clearly my fake smile was not convicing enough as Harry's entire face could see through me. His stern face was a dead giveaway.
"Let me see it". He stated firm.
I took a step back. "Harry-"
"Cassie-"
"There you are, Harry. We've been looking-" Hermonie looked from Harry to me then back to Harry as she turned the corner with Ron. Both of them dressed in winter gear as well, "Oh Cassie hello".
I smiled barely at them as I then turned to leave. However Harry reached out and grabbed a hold of my hand.
"Cassie, wait".
"Just let it go Harry". I said still not turning around. Harry still wasn't going to let go. Glancing over my shoulder neither Ron nor Hermonie knew what was going on.
"Mate whats going on?" Ron finally asked.
"Nothing". I said.
"Its not nothing".
"I said let it go".
"Harry I think you should-"
"What does it say?"
I closed my eyes. Why couldn't he just let it go already. Harry just let it go already. It was down with. Over. Complete. It didn't matter anymore.
"Harry whats going on?" Hermonie questioned us with a raised voice.
"Umbridge punished Cassie". He finally blurted out. "She wrote something on her hand just like mine". Hermonie gasped as Harry let go of my hand.
"Why the bloody hell didn't you tell us?" Ron questioned me. I sighed.
"I-It wasn't a big deal-"
Hermonie stepped forward and put her hands on my shoulders.
"It is. The very fact that she is allowed to get away with this is unacceptable".
"Which is why we are going to fight back". Ron added with a grin.
Raising an eyebrow at there statements I glanced over at Harry who nodded his head in agreement.
That very last thing that I had excpected from Harry or his friends was for them to form an army. Let alone an army for learning defensive spells. After our little conversation in the hallway Hermonie had dragged me along with her, Ron and Harry to the meeting. I didn't know what to expect, but I was ready to listen to what they had to say. Hermonie pulled me into the small abandon building sitting just outside Hogsmead. I had no idea what to make of this place, but the very fact that Umbridge didn't know that this place existed brought a feeling of calm over me.
Going up the stairs my eyes widened at all the students standing around just waiting for, what I was guessing was Harry to arrive. Hermonie had made it pretty clear that Harry hadn't really agreed to teach all these students yet, but she wanted him to and frankly so did I. With everything that was going on, especially with what Umbridge was doing we needed someone to led us. To teach us how fight for ourselves. And Harry was our best candidate for the job. He had been through all of this. He knew the darkness that was coming. He had fought against it. If anyone was qualified to teach us defensive spells it was him.

Happy new year everyone! I hope you had a good 2018. I'm really looking forward to what 2019 has to offer. On that note, I'm not sure what story ideas I'll have. But I know I'm determined to finish this Harry Potter story and have another up this summer. Will it be a twilight one or something different that I don't know yet. Either thank you guys for making 2018 a fun year.
