Escape Pt.1

Previously on FATE...
"Ok." Began Kira, taking a deep breath of air.

"Here's the plan..."

"Are you sure this is going to work?" Hoseok asked, his hands shaking as he spoke. The red haired man looked terrified as he looked down at the freezing dark water a couple 50 ft below.

Namjoon glared, "if you keep asking, I'm gonna keep doubting my plan."

Kira raised an eyebrow at the two. "It's OUR plan Namjoon, and don't worry Hobi, you'll be fine. Hopefully."

Hoseok groaned, "not reassuring me at all."

"You'll be fine," Lisa spoke with an encouraging smile. "We can pair."

Hoseok nodded grateful, but the fear still lingered.

"Ok does everyone understand the plan?" Kira asked, glancing at everyone as she stood near the edge of the wooden cliff.

The group nodded, most people wearing worried expressions, but they all managed to nod.

Suddenly someone let out a loud, forced cough. "So, I understand the plan, but can we go over it again, for um safety measures."

Everyone turned to Jin, the source of the voice, who smiled nervously. Jungkook face palmed, but quickly returned his hands to their normal positions when Chaeyoung squinted her eyes at him unamused.

"Listen," said Jin sassily. "I might be the oldest and most mature here but if I'm going to throw myself into some deep water, in the middle of the night, in the freezing cold, 50 feet off a cliff, then I'm gonna need a recap on the survival plan."

After his rant he raised an eyebrow and crossed his hands over his chest.

"He's right," said Jisoo, standing next to Jennie. "I listened, but you kind of lost me at "be careful not to die."

"Oh my lord..." Jimin said rolling his eyes over from the boys area, his sarcasm obviously pointed at the eldest girl.

"If another word comes out of your mouth pretty boy, you'll regret a lot more than meeting me." Jisoo spat icily.

"Ok, ok!" Namjoon quickly said standing up from his sitting position on the wood.

"Let's review the plan." He looked from Jimin to Jisoo and when they were both silent, he continued. "The plan is,

Everyone pairs up into groups of 2.
Jungkook and Kira will jump off the cliff first with the wooden boards that we will use to row across the lake.
As they set up the boards the first pair will jump down. Kira and Jungkook will be down there to help the pair on their way to the shore.
Then the pairs continue this pattern.
The last two people still up on the bridge will jump and pair up with Kira and Jungkook at the bottom. The four of them should be the last ones to go."

"Ok," Kira began carefully as Namjoon finished recapping. "Does everyone understand?"

Nods came from the group, and silence followed afterwards.

"Well then pair up." Taehyung said from beside Kira.

Immediately everyone began to move to different people.

"Jennie, right?" Jisoo and Jennie both turned to the man who spoke from behind them. Jin smiled and reached out his hand.
"Yoongi says you're injured, if you don't mind, I want to help you get to shore."

The brunette turned to her older friend. Jisoo nodded assuringly.

"T-thank you." Jennie whispered accepting Jin's hand. But she avoided his eyes as they walked away from a worried Jisoo.
