Chae turned around, her tear streaked face was exposed in the bright, warm glow of the moon. Her hair was soaked along with her clothes and shoes, the rain just wouldn't let up.

1 hour later
Narrator POV.
Chae shivered, her skin was laced with goosebumps up her legs and arms. She hugged her cold, pale body, as she sat on the back of the ambulance truck.
"Miss?"
Chaeyoung looked up to meet a pair of brown eyes. A man dressed in an ambulance uniform walked towards her and handed her a thick black blanket. Sighing in relief , Chae quickly but carefully wrapped the rough textured blanket around her body, hugging it tightly.
She looked up, managing a pained smile "thank you sir."
"Don't worry Miss," the ambulance man reassured, his lips pulled into a thin line. "We will find your friends."
"I hope so sir."
I hope so.
1 hour ago
"What are we going to do??!" Jimin yelled, his panicked hands went into his light blonde hair, pulling and running his hands through his wavy locks.
"They have to be ok right?" Hoseok asked, although not to any specific person. And even though he hated it he already knew the most obvious answer.
"They are ok. I know they're ok." Lisa said, a hint of unsureness in her voice. "They have to be." The girl silently began to cry once again, her statement more to reassure herself.
Hoseok turned sadly to Lisa and quietly put his hand on her shoulder, pulling her close for comfort.
A loud siren cut through the silent air. Red and blue lights flashed from a distance, bright against the dark black night.
Lisa quickly helped a weak Jennie up from the ground, hugging her as she stood up. "The police is here, they'll find our friends." Lisa wiped a tear forcefully from her cheek.
Everyone was silent after that.
Soon enough, police cars began to flood the sidewalk shore of the lake, a couple of bright red ambulances followed behind. Several police men exited their cars and walked towards the group of survivors.
"Come on guys." Hobi waved and slowly the others followed, Namjoon last. His eyes seemed frozen in fear and his mind far else where.
When the group was about 7 feet from the police men a defining crack rang through the air. Everyone froze.
"Stay still! Do NOT move!! I repeat do NOT move!!" A police man shouted the orders as he reached for his walkie talkie located on his right attached to his belt.
The group did as they were told and didn't dare move a centimeter.
"Walk to me slowly, very slowly!" The same officer held up a gentle hand and motioned for them to walk to him.
Exchanging quiet and terrified looks, they all obeyed once again, but before anyone could get too far an all to familiar sound exploded from underneath their feet.
