I grabbed my vibrating phone from my jean shorts pocket to check the caller ID.
Chanyeol.

Chaeyoung's Pov.
Chanyeol was calling.
I felt my heart beat faster and faster, and my hands turn sweaty.
What? Why do I feel...
guilty?
Jungkook looked at me with curiosity. "Who is it?" He asked, biting his lip.
"Oh," I stuttered, my eyes nervously looking away.
"It's umm," I tried to continue, but the words just didn't come out. Why was it such a hard thing to say?
I have a boyfriend named Chanyeol.
Good Chaeyoung, now say it out loud.
"I have a-" my voice was stopped by a tall man harshly bumping into me.
The man walked off, "rude." I thought, until I saw my finger pressed against the button.
Oh no.
"Rose?" My attention was completely on the phone in my hand as the voice of Channie, filled the room.
I saw Jungkook's eyes widen as soon as Chanyeol spoke.
"Channie!" I said with a masked smile.
"Excuse me Jungkook-ah, I'll be back in a second."
Jungkook's jaw clenched but he gave a small nod and I walked outside the shop.
"So to what do I owe the privilege of this call?" I said with a grin. I heard Chanyeol chuckle.
"I wanted to let you know that I have something planned for you tomorrow."
My eyes went wide, "something planned?" I asked with a smile. "Like a date?"
Chanyeol tskd, "it's a surprise Rosie, and I don't plan to ruin it!" I laughed as the cold breeze blew my hair back.
"Ok then honey, I'll wait till then." I said blowing him a kiss through the phone.
"Love you!" He shouted and I laughed once again.
"I lov-" I began to say back, but felt my voice trail off.
"Sorry I didn't hear, what did you say princess?"
I hesitated, gripping my phone tightly, "I-i live for the day we can see each other again." I said, giving a small cough/laugh.
"I live for that day too." Chanyeol said with a chuckle.
"Bye Channie!" I said.
"Bye Rosie!"
The call ended and I let out a deep sigh, a little cloud of air puffing out of my mouth due to the cold.
What the hell?
What just happened? I always say 'I love you' to Channie! Why did I freeze?
I heard the door to the shop open and Jungkook step out. My eyes trailed up to his face, he looked, almost...
Annoyed?
He caught me staring and I quickly looked away. Grinning, he approached me.
He then took off his black jacket and gently laid it down on my shoulders.
I jumped as his hands came in contact with my skin. "You look a little cold." He whispered with a smile and a shrug.
My cheeks turned pink and I turned away. This has got to stop, I'm dating someone!
But I'm not taking off the jacket it's freaking cold.
"So," he began, scratching the back of his neck. "Who was that?"
I stuttered, unsure of what to say.
"Im sorry, that was really straightforward. You don't have to tell me anything you don't want to." He apologized and looked into my eyes quietly.
I sighed, giving a warm smile.
You can do it Chaeyoung.
"It was my boyfriend."
His eyes went wide and he took a small step back.
"B-boyfriend?" He asked. I nodded, "his name is Chanyeol."
Before I could see any other reaction from Jungkook, I heard an ear splitting scream from the bridge area.
Was that Jennie?
My body quickly turned around to face the area where the sound came from.
Naksan bridge?
"YOONGI!" Another voice yelled.
Jungkook was now facing the same way aswell.
Yoongi? Where have I heard that name before?
Jungkook looked extremely panicked as he ran quickly towards the loud voices.
I saw Jungkook gasp as he stood near the bridge.
"Chaeyoung, stay where you are!" He shouted, the serious expression he wore worrying me.
What did he see?
"JENNIE, NO!" A voice screamed.
Holy shit, that was Lisa for sure.
I sprinted pass a frozen Jungkook and stopped when I stood a few meters from the bridge.
"Omy god..."
The giant Naksan bridge was broken in half, with Jennie and Yoongi hanging off the middle, about to fall into the rushing river below.
This can't be happening.
