And I knew perfectly well Pepper Potts, was Tony Stark's fiancée.

Narrator Pov.
Chae and Jungkook walked around the lake, which mind you was way bigger than it seemed.
Surprisingly no one was around and they were too cold to go anywhere else than what they had originally said. And as Chaeyoung and Jungkook began their walk, they had seen police sirens and ambulances near the destroyed bridge. The flashing blue and red lights shone brilliantly even so far away to where both of them were.
With no phone to call or people in their sight, both young adults shivered as they relayed the only form of making it to the crowded police and hospital cars, so they dragged their soaked bodies along the long, curving sidewalk.
The ambulances were what worried the two of them. As the duo walked quietly, the awkward silence became too much for Chaeyoung to bear.
"Are you mad-"
"Is everything ok-" Chae stopped as Jungkook also talked at the same time.
They both laughed, no humor tingling however.
"Did I do something wrong?" Jungkook asked quietly, his brown eyes pleading with question. Chae shook her head fiercely. "No, of course not." She looked at the ambulances in the distance. "I'm just worried, for them"
She turned back to Jungkook to find him staring at her. "I'm sorry if I seemed rude about something." She blushed and looked at her feet as she continued to walk.
"No! It's not that." Jungkook kept up with her faster pace, "I'm worried too."
He suddenly looked sad as he looked straight ahead. Chaeyoung noticed and gave him a warm smile, "They'll be ok."
Jungkook stared at her and gave her a small thankful smile.
They continued to walk, the awkward feeling from moments before fading gradually.
"Chaeyoung," began Jungkook, as their feet clicked in unison on the concrete sidewalk. "I have a question."
"Go ahead."
Jungkook bit his lip as if he were unsure as to continue. "Are you, I mean, is he-" Jungkook grunted as he struggled to speak.
"Yeah," he turned to the brown haired girl as soon as he heard her quiet voice.
"I'm dating someone."
Jungkook sighed and stopped walking. Chae noticed and stopped as well, turning around.
"What's wrong?"
In truth, she was nervous. And she didn't know why.
"I just, I..." began the younger boy.
Chae studied his facial features. But she just couldn't seem to read what he was thinking.
Letting out a deep breath, Jungkook walked over to where Chae.
"Keep walking." He said softly.
Chae raises an eyebrow and a tiny confused smile, "why?"
Jungkook chucked, "just walk Miss Potts."
Chae laughed at the nickname and continued to walk as she was told. Jungkook, followed next to her, their shoulders touching.
"In all honesty, I had a crush on you."
Chae blushed and then softly laughed, "in the one day you've known me. I'm flattered."
Jungkook laughed as well. "Yeah well, it's not everyday a heroine comes to my rescue."
