The Girls where on the way to Penelope's room when Josie stopped. She got a text. Penelope turned around as she realised Josie wasn't following her anymore. Before she could ask about what was going on Josie said. "I'm so sorry, I have to go." She grabbed her books and ran off.
"I've never been blown off ever." Penelope said to herself. "I guess there's a first for everything." she chuckled.
On the other side of the school, Josie stoped running once she reached her fathers office. Her Dad was waiting outside. "Lizzie's looked herself in with a barrier spell, and from the sound I'm hearing it's pretty sure she's destroying my office." Alaric said. Josie listened for a second. She could here banging, scratching and the sounds of glass breaking. "Josie we need you to siphon the magic, now." Alaric said urging Josie to hurry up. "Yeah okay." Josie said. She put her hand against the barrier and started siphoning. As soon as she was finished Alaric opened the door and stormed in to tend to Lizzie without even showing a hint of gratitude towards Josie. Seeing as she was clearly not needed anymore she walked away.
Her first thought was to find Penelope and continue the date they were having or whatever that was but then she remembered how she left without even giving her an explanation. "Penelope probably hates me right now." Josie thought to herself. She decided it was better just to go to class then to try and find Penelope.
Dinner time came around and Josie was one of the first to be there. She got her food and sat down at the table that was the furthest away from all of the others. She opened the book from earlier to continue reading when she was interrupted once again by Penelope.
"Heyy" Penelope said very flirtatious
"Hey" Josie replied sounding even shier then usual.
"What's up with you blowing me off earlier? If you don't like me you could have just said so." She didn't sound like the Penelope Park that everyone new. She sounded soft and caring just like the other night, Josie realised.
"But that being said you blowing me off, only makes me want you more Saltzman." Penelope said reverting back to her cooky sounding self.
Josie who was not liking Penelope's attitude said "What if I told you I didn't like girls." Josie was shocked with herself. She still didn't know where that confidence came from. Penelope smiled the said "I knew you'd be lying, also you don't have to like girls, just one girl. But your not very hard to read Saltzman and it's very clear that you have a crush on me."
Josie did not want to admit to Penelope that she was right so she kept denying it. "You wish." she said panic in her eyes as she tried to look away jet she found herself drawn back into Penelope's eyes.
"Well okay the. Here have this" Penelope slipped Josie a pice of paper with the numbers 122 written on them. What was this Josie asked herself.
"It's my room number come by anytime, I don't have a roommate so that should not be a problem."
"Yeah, I won't be needing that" Josie said as flicked the paper away. It fell of the table and onto the floor
"Your loss Saltzman" Penelope said as she walked away.
Later that night
Penelope heard a knock on her door. "Hold on a second I'm coming Penelope said. She got up from her bed and opened the door. As soon as she did she was greeted by Josie's lips. Josie pushed Penelope into her room and closed the door behind them not loosening her lips from Penelope's for a second.
