Diana, J'ohn, and Hinata make it back to Metropolis. They all stand on a building, and they all look down at the streets. People are running around in panic while some men are looting stores and causing riots. Diana frowns at this as she watches this. She then sees a man throwing a trash can at a window. And a man uses a paint can spray and sprays paint on a building wall that says, "The end is here".
Diana: Perhaps mother was right about mankind. They're nothing but untamed savages.
J'ohn: Do not judge them too harshly. They act out of fear.
Back below, a woman and her kids are trapped in a car. She tries to open the door, but it's stuck. Her little girl cries in fear. And by the car, two men are trying to lift up rumble.
Woman: Please! Someone help! We're trapped in the car!
Man: Hey! There's kids trapped under here, and there's a woman and her kids trapped in the car! Someone help them and give us a hand!
Just then, a green beam is shot at the rumble, and it's lifted up. John is the one who lifted it up.
John: Will this do?
The two men pick up the kids as John puts down the rumble.
Man 2: Thanks, man.
Just then, Thomas and Taylor show up. They both run to the car. They grab the door handles, and pull hard. The doors come off, and they throw them away. They help the woman and her kids out of the car.
Woman: Thank you...
Thomas: You're welcome.
They both leave as the woman hugs her kids. They both jump high in the air as John and Flash go up in the building where Diana, Hinata and J'ohn are at. Thomas and Taylor make it on top of the building.
John: Sorry we're late. Had to stop and help some civilians.
Flash: What'd you call us back for?
Diana: (Points) Superman's been captured. He's trapped somewhere inside there with Hawkgirl, Sakura, and Sasuke.
They all look and see the factory. Smoke still comes out of it. And lightning and thunder strikes in the sky.
Flash: Whoa.
John: And what about Batman?
Taylor: Yeah. Where is he? And where's Naruto?
Hinata closes her eyes as she tries to hold back the tears. Diana closes her eyes too.
J'ohn: They acted heroically...to the very end.
Thomas: What?!
Flash: The bat's gone? Along with the silver guy?
Diana: They were true warriors.
John: (Steps forward) This is not good, definitely not good.
Taylor: It's up to us now. (Looks at Hinata) Hinata, we have to do this. For Naruto.
She nods as she continues trying hold back the tears. Diana comforts her with Thomas. They approach the factory as a walker stands guard. It steps on a taxi car and it explodes. It continues walking around. Everyone looks at the factory.
Flash: I can't believe we're doing this again.
John: If Superman, Hawkgirl, Sakura, and Sasuke are in there, someone's got to rescue them. (Looks at J'ohn) You ARE sure they're still in there, aren't you?
J'ohn doesn't say anything as he has his eyes forward. Everyone looks at him.
John: J'ohn?
J'ohn: Yes. Your friends are alive, but we must act quickly. The Imperium is coming.
