Meanwhile, back at Konoha and at Naruto's home, his family are just waking up. They all go downstairs to eat breakfast. As Kushina makes breakfast, she brings food to her family. They all eat. As they do, Kushina looks at an empty chair on the table. She frowns.

Kushina: Minato, where's Naruto?

Minato: I don't know. Maybe he's over at Sasuke's home.

Naruko frowns. She remembers his face. She saw how upset he was. When she tried to talk to him later that night after the party, he was nowhere to be seen. As a matter of fact, she hasn't seen him at all. Then, someone knocks on the door. Kushina gets up and answers it. It's three people.

Kushina: Jiraiya. Tsunade. Shizune.

Jiraiya: Hello. May we come in?

Kushina nods and she lets them in. Minato sees them.

Minato: Oh. Hello, everyone.

Tsunade: Minato, we need to talk now.

Minato: Ok.

They all go into the living room. They all sit down. Jiraiya, Tsunade and Shizune look at them with frowned and serious looks on their faces.

Jiraiya: Minato, Kushina, this has got to stop now.

Minato: Stop? What do you mean?

Jiraiya: You two have been neglecting Naruto for too long. You two need to stop this now. He is your son!

Kushina's heart flinches from hearing that. Then she starts to feel sad and bad. They have been neglecting her baby boy.

Tsunade: And what were you two thinking? Naruko is not the oldest! Naruto is! The heir belongs to him. The reason he didn't show any skills was because you two didn't train him.

Minato looks down in shame. He knows they were right. Right now, in his mind, they're going to make up for everything they did.

Minato: Ok. We'll stop. We'll train him and be better parents. When he gets home, we'll tell him we're sorry.

Kushina: Yes.

Tsunade: (Looks at them) Wait. You mean...all this time, he hasn't been home?

Minato: No. We thought he went to Sasuke's.

Shizune: He's not there! We were just there! Mikoto told us he never went there! In fact, she said she can't find Sasuke anywhere! We haven't seen them in five weeks!

The family's hearts stop as they pale.

Minato: Five weeks...?!

Shizune: Yes! When he ran out during the party, we went to go find him! But we couldn't find him anywhere!

Kushina starts panicking. She runs upstairs. Minato and Naruko follow her. The three then follow after them. She runs to Naruto's bedroom door. She bangs on it.

Kushina: Naruto?! Naruto, it's mommy! Are you in there?! Naruto, open this door!

There was no answer in the room. Kushina looks at Minato. She slowly opens the door and she looks inside. Her eyes widen as she sees his room for the first time. His room is plain. Nothing around but just a bed, a desk and bookshelf. They look around and find nothing. Kushina pales badly as she doesn't remember buying anything for Naruto. Then, Naruko finds a note on the bed. She shaky walks to it. She picks it up and she reads it. After she reads it, she drops to her knees and starts crying. Her parents look at her.

Minato: Naruko, what is it? What's the matter?

She continues crying. Kushina sees the note in her hand. She quietly asks for it. Naruko hands it to her. She looks at it and begins to read it.

"Sorry I'm always bothering you all, so I ran away. Now you all have time you need to be a real family. A family without me. I guess I'll just be a failure to you all... I still love you though...

Goodbye. Naruto."

After reading that, Kushina's heart breaks. She drops to her knees and starts crying hard. She knows he was right. They neglected him. And now because of them, he ran away from home. Minato feels more worse. He runs out to get men to find his son. Naruko continues crying too along with her mother. Tsunade, Shizune and Jiraiya just watch in silence as the mother and daughter continue crying. They knew this was going to happen to them. Tsunade and Shizune decided to stay with them while Jiraiya goes with Minato to help him find Naruto. To this day, they vow to find Naruto and apologize to him for everything.
