Anna's P.O.V.:

I get up from the table.

"You guys get to do the dishes, have fun." I yell after grabbing my now refilled mason jar and walking into my small, cozy room. I sit on my ever so soft bed and grab my phone.

I start scrolling through my contacts, looking for the T for Theo, my dad's name.

I know it's weird for it to say Theo but I don't like to have it say mom and dad.

But while scrolling down I notice a new name. Ricky 🐸 it says.

So Ricky put his number in my phone. Cute! I text him to give him my number.

I call my dad.

"Hello, you're speaking with Theo Longcastle." I smile when I hear his voice.

"Hey dad! How are you?"

"I'm good! How are you honey? You haven't called yet, we were a tad bit worried, But we trust you." His accent is so strong, I'm so upset I don't have an accent anymore.

That's what you get from speaking French, Dutch, Croatian, Spanish and Latin. I am so random at picking languages.

"I'm doing okay. We found a cute apartment and made a lot of new friends."

"Is Ricky one of those?" He knows me too well, he'd probably be wiggling his eyebrows at me. I love my dad.

"Yes, actually Lucy organised my birthday at their house., we met Jc before the rest though."

"Well, I'm so happy for you honey but your mom is killing me here so I have to give her the phone."

After that I talk to my mom and it gets way too emotional but I don't mind.

I lay on my bed and think about home. I still haven't talked to my brother but I better leave that be for a while.

My 3 year old younger brother is like a save haven for me, I can talk about everything and he always cheers me up. Just thinking about it makes me sad.

My phone starts ringing again so I pick it up.

"Yeah?" I ask, my voice rough like sand paper and it sounds like I just cried.

"It's Ricky. Anna, are you crying?" He asks concerned.

"No, not anymore I just had a long awaited convo with my parents and stuff , it got a little emotional. No biggy." I say.

"Do you want me to come over?" I feel a headache come up.

"Ricky I'm not feeling too well. My head hurts." I say.

"Oh, never mind then." He says disappointed.

"What do you think about coffee tomorrow?" I say.

"Yeah, sounds good. I'll pick you up, just text me your address." Ricky says, sounding more cheerful and probably smiling.

"Goodnight Ricky."

"Goodnight Anna."

I fall asleep and have the best dreams ever about Ricky. I always do though, the last two years dreamland has been a big support and nightmares only come a few times a year.

~~~
I wake up to my phone ringing. Since I work from home now I can sleep out a little while Lucy does her modelling.
"Hello?" I say in my raspy voice.
"Hey,it's Ricky. Are you ready to get coffee?" Shit, I slept in a little too much.
