Leaving

CHAPTER 11

EREN'S POV

 

  "Eren...Eren...wake up. Maria is here." Someone said softly shaking me. I opened my eyes to see Hanji standing over me with a sad smile,"Hey." I said with a smile. Her smile was now gone and she looked over to the side at Maria,"Morning Sage." She said with a smile. I frowned and said,"Morning Madame." She nodded and Hanji helped me up,"Your things were recovered from your room and your friends are waiting for you outside." Maria explained.

 I sighed and said,"Maria...I'm not leaving alone." She raised an eyebrow in confusion,"Oh?" She asked. I nodded,"I'm bringing Moretti with me, she's an amazing violinist and she's helped me. Please let her show you what she can do." Maria looked to the side and said,"I'll give her to the time we leave. Tell her to meet us out at the courtyard." I nodded happily and shook her hand,"You won't regret this decision!" I said running out.

*TIME SKIP*

When I got to Moretti's room I busted in and ran to her bed,"Moretti!! Moretti wake up!!" I yelled. She looked up at me sleepily then jumped up out of bed,"Are they here?!" She screamed. I nodded and pulled her to her closet, I rummaged through until I found a black skirt with a red button up shirt."Put this on!" I commanded. She grabbed the cloths hesitantly and said,"B-but Eren...your in here." I sighed and said,"Moretti, please hurry up. I wont look. Promise."

  She nodded shyly and stripped of her cloths and put the clean ones on. I looked through her closet again and found a black jacket to go over her shirt and a white tie. I turned back to her and placed the jacket on her shoulders,"Put that on and look nice. If you want to go you must look nice. I know you don't want to but...Maria wont except you if you don't do as I say."

She nodded and slipped the jacket on, once her shirt was buttoned all the way I pulled the collar of her shirt up and wrapped the white tie around it. I did a couple loops and then one last knot and the tie was done,"There." I said with a smile. She looked perfect,"Now, do you have your violin?" I asked. She shook her head and I nodded,"Good, I bought you a new one." I said walking to the door. Her head spun to me when I walked back in,"What do you think?" I asked.

  She walked up slowly to me with tears,"You got this for me?" She asked. I smiled and said,"Yeah, its the one you wanted a long time ago isn't it?" She nodded and I placed it in her hands. It was a silver violin with black trim, she picked up the bow and held it ever so slightly,"E-eren....its beautiful." She sobbed. I smiled and said,"Your music is beautiful. Now all you have to do is show them that." She nodded and we walked out to the courtyard with her bags in hand.

When we got to the courtyard everyone was down there...except for Levi. He was no where to be seen, I got slightly discouraged to leave...until I saw Maria standing there with paperwork. Paperwork Moretti would have to sign to go to America. I smiled and we ran to the limo,"We're here!" I yelled out of breath. Mikasa and Hanji ran to us, but we ran past them,"Can she play now?" I asked. Maria sighed and glance over at Moretti,"You are a lovely young lady. State your name and reason you want to go to America." Maria said facing her.

  Moretti looked over at me and I nodded, she took in a deep breath and said,"I want to be with Eren. He's my best friend and I want to play. I love the violin, please allow me to show you my talent." Maria gave a small smile and she nodded,"Please do." Moretti nodded and looked at me, I held out a hand and she took it. I walked her to the middle of the group and said,"Show them what you've got and dont hold back. I'll get the others to clap along to make up the beat. Ok?"

Moretti nodded and I ran off to the others, whispering that on my que to start clapping to the beat and make some rhythm. When I was done I nodded at Moretti and she gently placed her fingers on the correct strings, she let out a deep breath and placed the bow above the bridge. She took one last look at me then began playing. I smiled as she played, playing each note perfectly, making me come to tears as she swiftly moved to each string.
