I Have A Request

CHAPTER 14

HANJI'S POV

 

  "Eren!! Why did you leave?!" I screamed at the phone. I threw it across the room and tugged at my hair,"Eren! What's become of you!?" I cried. A thud was heard and I looked over to see Levi curled up on the floor crying,"Why did you have it on speaker?" He whispered. I looked away and saw Moretti crying as well, Jean and Mikasa tried to comfort her while Armin and Erwin thought of a plan to get him back.

"Do you see now why we have to rescue him!?" I yelled at Levi. He sat up and held his head in his hands,"I know...I know...but there's nothing we can do!" He yelled. I ran over to him quickly and grabbed him by his shoulders,"There is most certainly something we can do! We can go and get him by force! You have the strength to, your just to scared to!!" I screamed. Everyone looked at us in worry,"Hey guys...come on. Don't fight." Armin said softly. I sighed and let go of Levi walking to the door,"If your not going to do anything then I will. Don't expect to see me for a couple of days. I'm going to Paris to go get Eren. If any want to join speak now or forever hold your peace." I said holding the door open.

  Moretti looked up and raised her hand,"I'll go." She croaked. Before she could say another word I interjected,"But what about your parents?" I asked. She frowned and said,"To hell with my parents! I need to act like the woman I am and save Eren! I don't care if they disown me! A life...Eren's life and well being is at state...you don't even know how bad it really is."

I didn't quite understand,"What do you mean?" I asked. She held a hand to her eye and said,"He's given up...that day of the concert, after Levi left and you were thrown out he just gave up. All the life in his eyes went to a simple greyish brown and the spirit in his smile went to a plain expression of grief and sadness. Amber took advantage of that and told me to leave and told him that he was hers. All he said....all he said was a simple 'Yes ma'am'. He didn't fight for me to stay, he didn't fight about being a slave to her, he didn't even fight to get back to Levi! He's gone!"

 "No! It can't be! Eren will always be Eren! He cant be gone!" Mikasa shouted. Moretti shook her head,"All we can do is hope and try to get him back. He's changed so much Hanji. He didnt even tell me goodbye. And when does Eren ever like women!!?" She asked angrily. Levi looked up puzzled,"What do you mean by that?" He asked hoarsely. Moretti looked over to him and said,"Amber plans to make him hers. And all you've done is cry about it! You don't even know if she's taken advantage of him or not! Eren can't fight back! She's a girl! Do you want him to go to prison!? Eren can't win unless we help him."

  Levi's eyes widened in sudden realization,"Taken advantage of?" He whispered. His head dropped as he held tightly to his phone,"Why was I so ignorant?" He hissed. He stared down at his phone in hesitation, just waiting and thinking of to call him or not,"Just call him already!" I snapped. Levi nodded and dialed his number,"Hello?" Someone answered. Levi looked to me and I nodded, he put it on speaker and asked,"Is Eren there?"

"No...he's packing to go to Paris. Who is this?" She asked. Levi sighed and said,"Levi...I'm Eren's....friend. Is he doing ok?" She giggled and said,"He's absolutely fine. Why do you ask?" Levi looked back to me and I quickly grabbed the phone,"Eren is not fine and you know it! What do you want with him and why are you lying to us!?" I yelled. The end was silent and she spoke,"Oh so your that girl he was talking to this morning. Poor little thing was in tears...all I plan to do is make some money off of him. You'll read all about it."

"No! I won't except it!" I yelled again.

"I didn't say you had to. This is just business, oh and don't expect to talk to Eren again for a while. And of you do get in contact with him some how I will stop it from happening again. I won't hesitate to cut every single tie you have with Eren. He belongs to me now."
