"Zi hurry up her break bouta be over by the time you're done" I put baby girl in her car seat then grab Nicki's lunch.

I also want to make a trip to the flower store and pick her up some roses.

I don't know what caused me to snap like I did at my baby but I want her to know I'm deeply sorry.

If words won't cut it, I'll show her how sorry I am. "Okay I'm ready" Zisel runs down the steps.

I bring everything to my car then tell Zi to lock the door behind her.

"I'm gonna run to the store real quick" She nods taking out a bag of chips, she does this thing where instead of gently opening it like the normal person, she squeezes the shit till it pops open.

When we arrive at the store I turn my head to Zisel.

"Do me a favor baby?" She groans. "Go in there and ask for some red roses, Imma give you a hundred cause them shits be hella expensive for no reason"

"It's for Mama?" I smile with a nod. It's the least I could do.

"Okay" She says licking her fingers before taking her seat belt off.

"Just hurry back okay? I would go myself but it's a whole process having to take Nadine's car seat out"

"Ok" She grabs the money then runs in the store.

After a couple minutes of waiting her ass is still in there.

My baby only has break for a few minutes.

"Now I know it don't take that long to get some flowers god damnit Imani!" I beep the car two times.

Seconds later she walks out...but where's the damn flowers?!

I roll the windows down in response to her knocking. "What kind of roses do you want?"

"The red ones Zisel, you was in there for nearly 20 minutes why are you now coming back with this question?"

"I know but what kind of red roses do you want??"

"What do you mean what other red rose is there?!"

"Mom there's different kinds apparently. There's Spanish dress, Freedom, Red France....uhhh I forgot the rest but yeah"

I pinch the bridge of my nose. "Which ever one you think mama will like Imani" She nods running back in the store.

When she comes out she's holding a nice bouquet of roses all tied beautifully together.

"Those are pretty, you think she'll like it?" I smile watching her get in the vehicle. "Definitely. Anything these bad boys touch is a gift to honor" I roll my eyes.

Yup. That's my child alright...

Once we get to the school I hurridly take the key out the car before grabbing Nicki's lunch then taking Nadine out the car seat with Zi following behind.

"You seem lost, where you going??" Zisel laughs as I look around for the entrance.

"Well then how bout you lead the way instead of making me look stupid" I playfully mug her.

I've never been in the building before so I had no clue where I was going. Zi on the other hand came numerous times for bring your kid to work day.

"Teetee!" Nadine points at her older sister as she walked ahead of us.

"Yes baby that's Zizi, and what's your name?" I tickle her.

Her laughter fills the hallway causing a few heads to turn. "Nahdee!" She throws her hands up in hurray.
