Rihanna smiled in admiration as she watched her youngest peek through one slightly opened eye while letting out a cute yawn.

"Hi mama, you sleep well?" Looking up at her mother the little girl stretches her legs and arms.

Since her birth not once has the green eyed let her out her sight. She slept and woke in her mother's arm.

Rays of sunlight emerged through the hospital window. This was the little girl's first morning. She's never seen the beauty of the sun rise before her.

Given the blessings of perfect vision and hearing the little girl was now able to hear sounds from beyond the womb and had already classified family from strangers due to the familiarity of their voice.

She knew the faces of her parents who'd talk to her every night before bed and the following morings.

"Everyone's so excited to meet you mama, especially your sisters" Rihanna spoke in a high-pitched tone.

Nadine smiles looking up at her mother. Rihanna chuckles kissing all over her little girl's face until she starts smiling.

Beaming with undisguised admiration the older woman layed her daughter down on a mattress to capture the moment.

Later she'd look back at it and smile. This was the first seeing the joyous smiles of her blessing.

Onika had just fallen a sleep not too long ago. She'd expected this delivery to be easy going and fast but it was far from that.

On the way to the hospital she had a panic attack, memories of her last pregnancy flooded her mind.

She'd decided that if anything were to go wrong and it was her daughter's life or her's she wouldn't think twice to risk her own life.

Unfortunately she had a few complications. An emergency c-section was required. She lost a lot of blood during that first hour.

Rihanna stood by her wife from beginning to end. It was hard for her to watch her wife in an excruciating pain and not be able to do anything but hold her hand and give her words of encouragement

When they told her Onika was in need of a c-section she'd almost fainted. Every blood in her system ran cold.

Nadine was finally born on April 6th 2018 6:42 AM at Mary Jane hospital in Los Angeles California.

*Tringggg* *Tringggg* Onika's phone rung as Rihanna was changing Nadine's diaper. *Tringgg* it rung again. Quickly she strapped Nadine up before searching through her shared bag to answer.

Rihanna's P.O.V

"Hi ma how you doing, how's mama and the baby?" Ida asked. "Everyone's doing great, y'all just woke up?"

"Yeah, Everyone's up but Zi. Gammy is here as well as grandpa" She said refering to Onika's parents.

"Oh they are? What time y'all plan on coming?"

"When everyone's dressed. We should be there by eight or nine" I nod making that a mental note.

"Well then I guess I'll see you then" I yawn into the phone.

"Yes ma'am. I can't believe she's actually here. I feel like screaming, that's how happy I am" She expressed. I could almost see her broad smile.
