Chapter 12: The Game Of Love

*Brooke's P.O.V*

...........................I was in a big empty room surrounded by four playful puppies. Their soft fluffy fur rubbing up against my skin. They were jumping up on me, each of them trying to get my attention all at the same time. Their loud high pitched barks echoed through the room. Suddenly there was a loud HISSSSS. The room became quiet and the only sound that I could be hear was this loud hissing sound. A  large Anaconda immerged instantly in the distance. I tried moving back away from the serpent but my back hit the wall. Suddenly the huge venomous snake grew two extra heads, the three headed creature hissed at me. It's beastly eyes shot daggers at me, I could feel the shooting pain throughout my entire body.

The puppies were crowded around me for protection. I could tell that they were frightened, because they seemed uneasy. Their tails between their legs, and the look of fright in their eyes. The snake slithered closer and closer towards me, one of the puppies slowly started to step forward  bravely to face this deformed creature. The brave little puppy started growling at the snake then that's when I noticed..........the puppy was growing?! by this point the only thing separating me from my sudden death was this now monstrosity of a puppy.....dog growling fiercely trying to intimidate it. The snake hissed once more before it lounged forward and attacked......................

I suddenly jumped out of my sleep gasping for air; my eyes wide with fright, I tried taking continuous deep breaths to try to calm myself down. Which didn’t seem to help me all that much until Jacob pulled me into a warm embrace, stroking my hair softly, that always seemed to help. "Relax Bonita, relax it's just a bad dream." His voice soothing comforted my but that didn't stop a few tears from escaping my eyes. I inhaled deeply and held on to him, crying into his shirt. I said in a raspy voice "It was horrible, I thought -"I said beginning to trail off. "You guys weren't there to protect me, it was horrible...." Jacob held me tighter in his warm embrace holding me closer than ever as the tears began streaming from my eyes.

"Bonita, you know I'll always look out for you no matter what. I will always protect you. Siempre y cuando usted me tiene usted nunca estara solo. Just remember that ok? as long as you have me you'll never be alone." I nodded as he let me go, cupping his hands on my cheeks, wiping away my stray tears. He stared into my eyes then gave me another quick hug and reached over for my hands making me get on my feet. "Come on, smile for me where's that smile of yours that I love so much?" I looked down at my feet with a weak smile. "You always know how to make me feel better." I said tipping on my toes to give him a quick kiss on the cheek. "I'm gonna go freshen up and Jake..thanks for making me feel better." I said walking out the room. I could see the smile grow on his face from the corner of my eye. 

*Princeton's P.O.V* 

If only she knew what she means to me, how she makes me feel it's crazy how she doesn't know this already. I still had some guilt, I let her down once and I'm not gonna let it happen again, she's back in my life again and this time I'm not gonna let her leave that easily. I said I would protect her but I didn't, I thought I was but in the end all I was doing was hurting her. I wish......if only I could undo all the pain I caused her........nothing is going to get in my way this time....NOTHING.

*Nikki's P.O.V*

 "You guys are way too easy to beat, I need some real competition." I said triumphantly throwing myself on the sofa. "Please Nikki, don't get too cocky it's just beginner’s luck." Ray said defensively. I raised my brow and tried to understand what he was saying "Um Ray I don't know if you've been keeping count....but you know I've been and so far I've beaten you what fourteen times now Roc?" I looked over to Roc who was relaxing on the floor. "Fifteen by my count. Ray man just give up she's better than you. She beat you bro, what can I say this chick got some mad skills." He said shrugging his shoulders.
