Chapter 20: One Friend's Secret Is Another's Pain

*Nikki's P.O.V* 

I can't believe it. I knew she would react badly, I should have told her from the start. I sighed heavliy from frustration. "I'll go get her." I said then someone held me back by my arm. "No, just leave her for now it won't help if you talk to her now, just let her cool off and understand what's going on. I'm sure she'll get over it." said Roc. I nodded understandingly. I sighed again "Brooke's really upset with me, oh who am I kinding, she's furious with me, are you sure I can't just talk to her for a sec? but even if I do I have no idea where she is" I groaned "I mean this IS my fault she's all upset at us." I said giving them a  worried look. "She's right we should go and talk her and Nik don't beat yourself up we ALL knew and pretty much kept it from her just as you did. Does anyone even know where she ran off to?" Prince said reassuring me that it wasn't entirely my fault. Even though I'm sure it was

"Let's go find her then." I said getting out of the pool and drying myself off. We searched for a good couple hours it was a presidential suite after all so the place was pretty big but we all met back up in the living room area with disappointing looks on our faces. None of us had found her where was she? A thousand questions filled my head and I just broke down, dropped to the floor and begand sobbing. "She...........she left didn't she?" I said between sobs "we- we- we're still in New York so maybe she went home.......maybe-"

"Stop!!" Ray said cutting me off. "can you think a little more positively? She couldn't have gone home!! why would she? you all saw her face when Keisha invited her on tour with us she lit up, she was obviously extstatic to come with us and knowing Brooke she wouldn't have gone home. I think we all know that she can get a little ahead of herself at times and she's a major hot head so I saw we wait her out she has to come back sooner or later, her iPod is still in the room so she wouldn't just leave it behind." Ray explained. My eyes didn't meet his, they just wondered around the room, I wasn't paying much attention to his little speech...............I just hoped that Brooke would come out of hiding somewhere, hoping that she would still be here........that she didn't just get up and leave. Most of all I couldn't have my best friend mad at me like this and if she didn't come back to the suite ..............I'd have to leave too and besides even if I could stay it wouldn't be any fun without her.
