A/N: Y'all I am so sorry for the long wait! It's been almost 3 months but I'm in my senior year of high school and have just been focusing on school things and just working on myself but I'm here with over 2100 words for ya! Again I'm sorry (you'll probably have to reread old chapters to remember everything) but I'm trying. I hope you enjoy this chapter <3 - Deja

Dinah slowly opened her eyes, the sun beamed into her eyes, making her close them again. Then she remembered where she was when she felt Camila move in her arms as she slept.

Quickly unwrapping her arms from the sleeping brunette, Dinah grabbed her phone and read the time.

8:24 AM

Dinah quickly sat up and looked around but didn't see any signs of her family being awake which made her sigh in relief.

Sure she's ready to tell them everything but it's different when you don't have any time to prepare.

"Mila wake up" Dinah nudge her girlfriend awake.

They needed to get back into her room before someone noticed they weren't in the house.

Camila slowly woke and was disoriented when Dinah basically pulled her up from the ground and guided her towards the door.

"Why are you rushing?" Camila asked, tripping into the house after Dinah pushed her through the door way and turning to face Dinah who was shutting the door and locking it.

"Because we have to go back upstairs before my parents-" Dinah stopped in her tracks when she turned and saw Milika standing at the bottom of the stairs.

"Go back upstairs before your parents notice that you were sleeping outside? Cause we've been aware since you went out"

Dinah thought she was ready but now that she felt as if she was being confronted, she was having second thoughts.

As if Camila could read her mind, she sent Dinah a soft reassuring smile.

She was ready and so was Dinah. It was now or never.

"Mom I can explain"

Milika gestured for Dinah and Camila to fully enter the living room and sit on the couch, sitting beside Dinah.

"Okay. Um...I don't really know how to go about this" Dinah laughed nervously, looking at her lap as she thought of how she was going to tell her mom about everything.

Was she supposed to just come out of the blue and say "hey mom guess what? Camila's my girlfriend. Hope you understand"

"You don't have to" Camila whispered. She knew Dinah wanted to tell Milika but maybe today wasn't the day and she was okay with that.

Dinah took one last deep breath to prepare herself for whatever reaction Milika may give her.

"So um...I haven't talked to you about everything but since I started talking to Camila again we um...started having feelings for each other and we- we're together now"

Dinah watched her mom's face, trying to read her expression which was almost calm and all Dinah wanted to do was yell at her mom to say something.

The silence was killing her.

If her mom was mad, she wanted her to yell. If she was disappointed she wanted her to show it.

But sitting there with no expression was not what she wanted.

"Okay. Dinah come to the kitchen for a minute" Milika said, getting up and walking to the kitchen.

"Stop worrying. It'll be okay" Camila said, sending the blonde a reassuring smile.
