Chapter 8 - School shopping

Emilys POV

I got my offical date. The day I start my senior year. It's tomorrow. Way to give me a heads up. I turned up the heat while Alice drove my porshe. I watched the rain roll down the window. I traced it with my fingers. 

" thanks for coming with me" I said.

" I'm glad you invited me,Seth is over all the time to see Renesmee and now. She always smells like d-" " never mind" she said.

" Werewolves have a smell?" I asked. He eyes widened. " You know?" she asked concered. " I thought you only knew about us" she said turning on the blinker. " Don't tell them"  I begged. She nodded.

" Sam gave it away. Which is pretty funny because he's an alpha." I laughed. She smiled. " Jackson was an alpha, that's how I knew sam was one."--

I finally put away all my clothes. Alice insisted on paying, but I had more money than I knew what to do with. So, she paid for all my school supplies and I payed for the clothes. Alice was an amazing aunt. The only one I really had. But I thank god everyday for her, I thank god for everyone I have.

I pulled out all my folders, binders,pencils,erasers,high lighters,pens,stickynotes,and colorful tabs. I grabbed a sharpie and started writing my name on them.

 I put all my pencils,pens,highlighters and my tabs in my pencil pouch and I threw it in my bag. I jumped at the knock on my door. I sighed. " It's open" I said. Jacob walked through and sat on my bed.

" Dinner's ready" he said with a smile.  " Who's here?" I asked. " Everyone, except for Paul and Sam, they are almost here" he said

I looked up at Jake

" Did you say something?" I asked. He turned from the door and shook his head. I nodded.

Help me Emily. think. You can find me.

Hurry, the dumb wolves are going to eat me

I walked outside to see Paul and Sam walking out of the woods towards the house. Seth and Jacob followed me out. The cold wet grass made my feet tingle.

" Where is he?" I asked pushing towards them. " Your going to have to be a little more specific" Paul smirked. I held my urge to smack him. " You know who I'm talking about." I spat.

" Where the hell is Mason?" I asked. Their eyes widened but they didn't respond.

" I'll find him myself then" I said walking past them.  Paul reached back and grabbed my waist.

" Don't touch me" I said pushing him back. They were honestly going to run after me? Damn. I exchanged glances with them.

I turned around and ran for it. I was always fast. I've always been fast. I ran, the branches under my feet snaped as did the leaves. They called after me, but I didn't have time to look back. As much as I wanted to stop and get a breath, I couldn't. I was deathly scared of them now. They would probably kill me without a second thought.  Would seth and Jacob let them kill me?

" Mason" I gasped, my lungs on fire.

" Get me out of this, they are gonna eat me!" he said alarmed. His face was pale and his eyes showed pain. I looked for the lock on the chains. I pulled silver darts out of his wrists and arms. I  focused on the lock. I held it until my hand hurt. It broke open and Mason stood up. I watched his arms heal. Which was increadable.

" What are you doing here?'' I asked. " I came to see you. Ren was worried" he smiled pulling me into a hug. " I missed you" I smiled. " I missed you." 

" How's everyone?" I asked as we walked. "Good" he smiled. " How's Luke?" I asked asked with a laugh.

" drunk" he smiled.

" are you the only one here?" I asked as we reached the edge of the woods.

" as far as I know" he said.

" you have to go, now" I said out of breath. " Run" I yelled as heard the rest of them at the edge, close to us.

He growled.

I watched as Jacob came out first, followed by Sam and Seth, Paul last.

" Please go, they'll kill you" I cried.

" transport me" he said. " What?" " I didn't stutter" he said. " I can't transport you, I don't know how" I cried.

" Do it, concentrate" he said. He grabbed my hand. He planted a kiss on my cheek. I looked up, my heart racing, they were almost here. I closed my eyes tightly and opened my mind. I took a deep breath.---

I got him out of here. But I was tired, really tired. I guess this was the time for a destraction. I looked down at my cold pale feet.

" Emily were not going to hurt you" Sam said calmly.

" Yeah right, your the alpha, whatever you say goes, you could have them kill me." I said.

" Jake, did you tell her?" he asked. My heart skiped a beat when he said Jake's name.

" Jake didn't tell me, neither did Seth" I snapped. " How'd you know?"

" remember that night at dinner when we had a stare down?" I asked.

" Your eyes. They are dark brown, outlined with gold. I'd reconize alpha eyes anywhere" I stated.

" So, if you promise not to kill me. I'm not going to tell anyone" I said. Paul laughed.

" We can't kill you. It's against the law" he laughed.

 I looked up at Seth, who had pleeding eyes, as did Jacob. I walked past leah and she called after me.

It hurt worse from Jacob. I couldn't tell why I had a connection to him, even though I knew he was lying, I didn't expect it to take this long for any of them to tell me.

 I walked up to my room ignoring the worried calls from Sue and Billy who were drinking coffe and watching the news.

I slammed my door and put my journal under my matress and layed across my bed.  I don't want to feel this way anymore. I just feel in the way. I don't belong here. I'm here for Sue. She's the only one that wants me here. I've been laying on my bed for about an hour. I got tired of my bed so I moved to the window ledge. I know I should go out and apoligze. But I knew what they were doing, they were using him to get to me.
