I literally cannot remember the last time I saw my brother. He's been gone for so fucking long, it just seems normal at this point to not see him.
My mom thought he ran away, but I had to explain to her that he was working on a big project in Burbank with a friend. She was understanding, but seemed sad.
"Hey hey," I said sitting down on a couch at Zephyrs, next to Ruben.
"Hey," Ruben said giving and awkward side hug.
"You look tired," Fourthgrade said from the other side of Ruben, "tired of my mom's bullshit," I added and they shut up real quick.
"Where's Stevie?" I asked and the little boy's head popped up from behind the counter.
"I was waiting for Ruben! He said he was gonna play UNO with me behind the counter," Stevie whined and I looked over to Ruben who was blushing.
"Shut the fuck up Stevie! I never said that!" He yelled and I laughed.
"I'll play UNO with you Stevie," I replied standing up and walking over to the counter.
I jumped onto the counter and Stevie smiled. "Finally someone has fucking talked to me today, I've been waiting," He said and I nodded, shuffling.
Fourthgrade was led over and mumbled; "can I play too?"
"Of course," I said and he stood at the counter, leaning/crouching so far down so his long body could be the same height as mine.
We played around three games, because the first two Stevie lost, and he got mad.
"Aye Summer are we going to the bowl or what?" Fuckshit asked, and I nodded, pushing myself off the counter.
We needed to go get more business, the white lids had stopped coming once they got a board.
"Yeah yeah, let me get my sweatshirt and we can go," I said grabbing one of Roman's hoodies I had found in his room. Ruben was holding it.
"Thank you for keeping it safe, Ruben," I said and he smiled, "don't worry about it."
We quickly drove to the bowl to make sure that we would've be there before the bowl.
"I'm gonna stay in the car, you know what to do," Fuckshit said and I nodded jumping out of the car.
"Thank you," I mumbled walking to the bowl.
I dropped my board and skated down into the main place, quickly slowing myself down.
I stopped myself and kids exited the bowl, I picked up my board, one Ray said I could borrow for example.
"Hey guys! My name is Cameron, and I've got a great skate board shop for you!" I said raising my board.
"Zephyrs is a skate shop on Lane and Robin, and is the best skate shop in all of Hollywood! You can buy the best skateboards I've ever used! Plus they last for a long ass time!" I said watching kids smile.
A few already had the boards.
"But the best thing is the decorations that Ray himself makes, between custom engraving, or even the colorful decks! All together it is the best skate shop! If you want a new board then I'll be by the North Ramp," I said walking over to a ladder, and kids walking over to the ladder outside.
I went up the ladder being bombarded by boys of all ages, but I ignored them until I got to the ramp.
"Can we buy them right now?" A boy asked in the front of line and I shook my head.
"Get your guardian to take you to the shop itself! It's a much better experience. The address is on the flyer. Not to mention that you get to talk to me about your order," I said smiling and he nodded mumbling a sweet as he walked away.
The line of boys was about 30 people long, and I spoke to each of them, handing them fliers.
The last boy was around my age, and cute.
"Hey I'm Luke," he said putting his hand out and I smiled, "Cameron."
"So what did I here about the best boards?" He asked holding an old wooden board.
"The best boatd shop in Hollywood is Zephyrs, or Ray's. They have the best and longest standing boards. Also they come with engraved initials and cool decks," I said smiling passing him a flier.
"That's so cool, would you be working there?" He asked smiling and I nodded smiling back.
"Of course, I take the orders," I said and he nodded.
"Well then I'll see you around Cameron," he said and I smiled, "see you around Luke."
KENZIE go check the cast list to see who is playing luke, you won't be disappointed :) one of my best friends lincoln melcher is portraying luke, and if you don't know who that is then check the cast list! anyways, i'm starting to run out of ideas, so lukexcameron may be a bigger thing? okay that's it, ily!
