RUBEN was arguing with Fuckshit about something dumb, nothing new. Most likely about which movie they were going to watch.
"Aye Summer! Could you come clean up the counter so we can get ready for customers? You know the rush of the day after," Ray said and I nodded grabbing a spray bottle and rag.
As I wiped the glass the doors bell rang signaling that someone was in. I stood up to see who it was, to be nose to nose with a boy. "Shit!" I yelled dropping the cleaning supplies, and he quickly dropped down picking them up and passing them to me.
"Thank you, sorry I'm super clumsy," I said smiling and setting the objects on the counter.
"Hey Cameron," He said and I had just realized who it was.
"Oh! You're the cute guy from the skate park!" I exclaimed realizing the mistake I had just made.
He laughed and I blushed, "Yeah, and you're the cute girl that works here," he said laughing, causing my cheeks to burn darker.
"Yep, what's your name again?" I asked and he nodded, "Luke."
"Oh I'm sorry Luke! God this is so embarrassing!" I mumbled holding my palm to my forehead.
"Don't worry about it," Luke said as I walked behind the counter.
"How can I help you?" I asked smiling at him. He was adorable.
"I don't know. What deck do u skate on?" He asked and I shrugged grabbing my board.
"I like the butterflies," Luke said rubbing the ones I painted on my board weeks ago.
"Thanks, but unfortunately we don't sell this specific deck, that was custom painted by yours truly," I replied smiling.
"Well could I pay for a new board, and then give you a little extra for a painting on the back?" Luke asked and I shrugged.
"I don't see why not, what do you want me to paint?" I asked back, knowing the minimal artistic abilities I have.
"Could you paint like a globe on it, like the earth?" Luke asked and I shrugged.
"I don't see why not?" I replied and stepped closer to the counter.
"Thank you so much Cameron. I'm so excited to see it," Luke said and I smiled wider than I have for a while.
I stepped out from behind the counter and he gave me a side hug, "see you soon Cameron," he said smiling at me.
"See you soo Luke," I said. Little did I know my stomach would erupt in butterflies.
KENZIE this sucks :') but,, it's pretty much a filler due to writers block. as soon as i can ACTUALLY write a decent chapter i'll update (like a good one you know)
