Hae's eyes tried to open when she fought to regain consciousness, barely able to pick up the two voices, both sounding unfamiliar to her. The only thing she really saw was the white ceiling above her, but that was about it. She felt herself wanting to fall asleep again, and due to her lack of usual energy, she closed her eyes once again.

 As for Jayden, his limbs felt too heavy to even move, except his head and brain, trying to recall what happened before everything faded. Did she do it? Or did our plan fail?  The nurse said he'd be fine within a few hours, but to him, it surely didn't feel like it would happen that easily.

After what seemed like a week, Hae fluttered her eyes to wake up again. She slowly turned her head to the right, a bit surprised when seeing Jayden already sitting up, his back against the wall, and his worried eyes on her, quickly looking away before she caught him looking. he turned his head back in her direction, watching her slowly try to sit up, closing her eyes momentarily in order to reduce the feeling of dizziness she felt.

"How are you feeling?" Jayden asked her, holding himself back from wanting to help her sit up.

"Just a bit light-headed. Super tired too." She replied groggily, still trying to make out the blonde, her blurry vision preventing her from doing so.

"Then rest some more. I've spoken with the manager about what happened, so he said he'll allow us to rest and recover." Jayden said rather softly, watching her slowly bob her head in a nod, laying back down again.

"Everything hurts~" Hae groaned in pain as she went to stretch, turning her head back at the male who was in a completely opposite state than she.

"The nurse said you'll feel like that for a bit. She put an antidote in you that should help with the memories and tiredness." He added, his tone still soft and low.

"Oh. . ." She mumbled, not realizing she was partly zoned out, jumping when Jayden snapped his fingers in front of her face to regain her attention.

"So. . . Did we do it?" Hae asked the male who shrugged, mustering up enough energy to flick his forehead.

"Ow! What was that for?!" He yelped, his hand covering the now reddened spot on his forehead, his eyes wide in shock from her strength, even if she was partly asleep still.

"You're supposed to know! I can't remember, so I thought you would!" Hae growled between her gritted teeth, her jaw visibly clenched.

"Well how was I supposed to remember if I got tranquilized too?!" Jayden yelled, his loud voice causing her to flinch, not used to him yelling at her so suddenly.

"Sorry. . .I know we're both recovering and we both want to make sure the hybrid saved. . ." He admitted, his voice softening; completely opposite than it was seconds ago.

"I might have a plan..." Hae mumbled, still trying to wake herself up.

"Do tell," Jayden replied, his brow raising with curiosity.

"Show me the other dinosaurs I'll be working with soon. I think we'll need some of them to help defeat the hybrid. Since the base genome is still carnivorous, and naturally herbivores and carnivores fight, it only makes sense." She looked at him again, watching him nod to let her continue, "Try to find a way to keep all the scientists away from that monitor. I'll need time to befriend these carnivores."

"Understood. I know most of the scientists, and this sounds kind of bad, but I'm pretty good at lying, so I'll come up with a rumor."

"Good. But I think I did something else-"

"Oh no." He had that look.

"I might've hacked into the system. . ." Hae muttered, not seeing Jayden's eyes grow wide.

"You did what?!" He yelped, calming as she explained everything in more detail, his expression going from shock to awe at how she did such a thing coincidentally.

"Damn girl, I didn't think you could do that. . ." He admired, "No one has ever hacked into the system, let alone that easily."

"I guess it was the coding for one of the dinos." Hae shrugged with a smile, giggling softly along with the male.

"I suppose you're right, but I'm glad it won't be as much of a big deal." Jayden said as she nodded, "Or at least, we can hope."

"I hate to change the subject, but what will my next dinosaur be?" Hae asked, hoping it would be a lesser-known creature.

"Oh, you'll be visiting a Ceratosaurus."

"Not bad. . . Can I see it?"

"Of course. Follow." Jayden ordered as he stood up carefully, helping the female also. "Can you walk on your own?" He asked, sighing softly as he watched her nod, still willing to help her regardless.

About halfway to the enclosure, he let Hae walk on her own, the girl highly confused about his sudden change in behavior. Did he get hit while unconscious or something?

~~~~~~
"Here we are," Jayden spoke, glancing at Hae who was examining the forest-like enclosure, amazed by how the feeling washed over her, almost forgetting that she was still on that island. What she mainly focused on was the fact that she needed to display herself as a peaceful being instead of one who could be a threat, refusing to come home with wounds to be reminded that a smaller creature spits venom on her. Plus her chances of surviving would be pretty slim, maybe even slimmer than they already are. She quietly mimicked the noise she heard, dismissing the confused look Jayden was giving her.
"Be careful, they can sp-"
"I know, they can spit venom." She predicted, grinning with pleasure when she managed to shut him up, him not even bothering to say anything more. "I'll be extra careful, don't worry~" Hae looked at him with a more genuine smile this time, soon falling into a pout when she saw him avoid her gaze altogether.
"I just wanted to make sure. If we're putting this plan into action, then I'm trusting you to know what you're doing."
"Jayden, I'll be fine. Just worry about your part of the plan and hope for the best." He gave her a genuinely concerned look for the first time, also thrown off guard when hearing her use his name in a friendly way.
"Hae, if this plan doesn't work out-" She cut him off once again, this time it was by her right index finger in front of his face, not wanting him to say anything more.
"You seriously need to stop worrying about what will happen instead of what's already happening. May I remind you that we're also going to search for the one who interfered with our previous plan?" Hae tried to cool her nearly boiling blood, trying not to snap at him this time around, her hand lowering when seeing he was actually scared of her this time.
"I'll take my leave. It seems you know what you're doing, so I guess I'll just worry about what I need to do. Like I said if this plan doesn't work then don't expect me to feel bad. We agreed on this, so whatever mistakes you make, I'll be paying for it. Don't fuck this up." Jayden growled, walking off with clenched fists, leaving the girl inside the enclosure. She's seen him mad before, but every day seems like he gets more and more irritated. Trying to shrug off the uneasy feeling in her stomach, she chose to meet these venomous dinosaurs for the first time, hoping for the best.
