You and your best friend were escorted away from the now small crowd and into the backstage area. Around you, staff members were running about trying to gather up things after the show. It seemed like just as much chaos back here as it did in the crowd. The two of you continued following the security guard as he led you through the madness and down a set of halls.
You were lead a bit of a ways away, even outside and into a near by hotel right next door to the venue. Totally clueless as to where you were going but you could only assume the man was leading you to Namjoon. Though, he could be leading you to your death? Ah, now you're just thinking like Nova.
Finally, you stood outside of a large black door. The man escorting you knocked on it a few times before it was opened by one of the boys you had seen on stage. "Ah! You're here!" The boy said with excitement waving the two of you inside. He looked pretty young, but was still clearly of age judging by the sharpness of his jawline. You bowed your head with a nervous smile and stepped inside first letting Nova follow behind you.
Namjoon, who was sitting on a couch in the room stuffing his face with some fruit that had been laid out on a table nearby, locked eyes with you instantly. A face splitting smile lit up his face and suddenly, your nerves turned into relief upon seeing his handsome face. Quickly swallowing his food, he stood up and rushed over. "Y/N! I'm so glad you came." He said as he wrapped his long arms around you, as if he hadn't just given you a heart attack on stage no more than 20 minutes ago.
"Ah, let me introduce you." He said, raising a hand as he gestured toward each of the other males in the room. "Jin, V, Jimin, J-hope--"
"Hoseok!" He cut Namjoon off with his real name as that was how you were introduced to him the first time.
"Ah, right. Hoseok. Suga, Jungkook." He finished. "Well, some of those are stage names." He said with a laugh as he looked to you.
You offered a wave of your hand "Heyyy." You said, first in English before quickly adding the greeting in Korean with a stutter. You bowed your head once more towards each of them and they all smiled back at you.
Nova muttered her hello rather quietly behind you, seeming a bit shy and out of place in the awkward situation.
The boys all yelled in unison, "Hello!"
Namjoon smiled at the happy atmosphere of the room and you both felt more at ease. "So, would you care to join us? We were just relaxing after the show. Want something to eat?" He offered, gesturing toward the table on the right wall that was filled to the edge with a variety of snacks.
You laughed softly. "I might need something to drink." You said half jokingly as your heart rate was still rather erratic.
"I second that." Nova said with a scrunched expression that showed her nervousness in this situation.
Quickly, one of the boys came over, holding two glasses of champagne in his hands, offering them up to the both of you. His pink hair was parted at the side, and looked as fluffy as a puppy's. You recognized him instantly with a soft blush as the one who sang next to you earlier. His eyes were bright but when he smiled you could barely see them, and some how it just made him that much more precious.
"Ah, thank you...Jimin right?" You asked, hoping to make sure you didn't get his name switched with one of the other boys.
"Yes! Jimin." He said, pointing at himself. It was clear his knowledge of the English language was limited but at least he understood the basics. He gave you a toothy grin, the crooked front tooth that flashed only added to his adorable charm.
Soon enough, Hoseok had wandered to your side and began to gesture everyone toward the couches to sit, talk, and relax. You took a seat on the couch, taking the seat next to Namjoon while Nova had nestled on the floor with a pillow. The one who was called Jungkook, you thought, seemed to not wish to make her feel left out and sat beside her on the floor.
