These words come from Troye, as he stands in the middle of our now finished nursery, covering his mouth. His eyes are bright as he looks around.

"Are you gonna cry?" I ask him, setting down the stack of swaddling blankets on the changing table and going over to him. He nods.
"Maybe? Look at this it's perfect. I love it."
"You helped do it all, Troye. Of course you love it."
"But it's better than I expected, I guess? It's beautiful, Jacob I can just see them in here already. I'm gonna cry some more." He curls his face into my chest, sniffling until the moment is shattered by Charlie ambling in, a quart of yogurt and a spoon in her hand.
"I hope you don't mind if I eat more of your food."
I chuckle. "We don't mind, Char."
Troye wipes his eyes. "Yeah, I was going to go grocery shopping soon. You want me to get more yogurt?"
She nods. "Please."
Charlie doesn't live with us, but with the amount of time she's spent at our house the past couple weeks, she might as well. Not that we mind at all. Having her around is only fun. She's goofy and she gets along with us amazingly, and time with her is time with the twins. Troye says having her here reminds him of having his sister Sage around.
Charlie hiccups, putting her hand on her stomach. "These guys have been kicking up a storm today holy moly. Leave my bladder alone please."
Troye smiles. "Did you know they're almost 14 inches long now? And they're starting to open their eyes for the first time. I was googling it last night."
Charlie smiles back at him. "Are you excited?"
Troye practically melts. "So excited, Charlie. And look, we've got this nice nursery to put them in now."
She looks around. "This is one dope nursery, I have to admit."
I give her a smug look. "And you told us we wouldn't finish it this week."
"I honestly didn't think you would!" She says. "But look at you two proving me wrong. You deserve a prize."
"Our prize is fresh groceries," I say, grabbing my shoes from the doorway. "We need to shopping, Char, wanna come?"
She shakes her head. "I should head home, I have things to do around the house."
"Suit yourself. You ready, Troye?"
He sighs. "Now? I kinda wanted to take a nap or something."
