"Good morning," Tyler smiles as he watches his boyfriend walk into the living room and sit on the couch next to him.

"Morning," Josh mumbles.

"Do you want breakfast? I can make a cup of hot chocolate too."

Josh shrugs.

"Everything okay?"

"Yeah. I think I'm just waking up still."

"Okay," Tyler says with uncertainty. He stands up, "Well I'll go get some breakfast for you. Do you want sausage or bacon?"

"Bacon, I guess. Thank you, baby."

"No problem," the brunette says, leaning down slightly to kiss the elder's cheek.

Josh stares ahead as he listens to his little love fix him a plate.

"Here, honeybunch."

Josh looks up and slowly takes the plate from his boyfriend's hands. Muttering a thank you, he picks up a strip of bacon and takes a small bite as Tyler sets down a cup of hot chocolate-since he knows Josh hates coffee-on the table in front of him.

The smaller boy sits down again, his legs tucked under himself, as he goes back to working on his assignment.

After a while of silence, besides the laptop playing Family Guy from the box set Brendon had bought them, Tyler glances toward Josh when he hears ceramic hit the wooden coffee table. He looks at the plate and notices the elder hadn't eaten any of his food besides the small nibble of the bacon strip.

Looking at the elder, he clicks his pen so that the tip goes in and sets it down on the side table next to him.

Moving slightly closer to Josh, he hooks his arm around the elder's, slipping his fingers between the other man's. "Joshie?" He says softly.

Josh hums in response.

"Is everything okay?"

"Yeah," Josh says, his voice just above a whisper.

Tyler sighs. It's rare that Josh has days like this, so Tyler isn't quite used to it, and he isn't really sure how to help. He's noticed Josh is always vulnerable when he's having a bad day, so most of the time, he just wants to lay down and do nothing all day. But Tyler always tries to get him to do something before resorting to cuddling for the entire day.

"Baby, do you wanna take a bath with me?"

Josh shrugs.

"I bought more of those vanilla scented bubbles that we like," Tyler smiles. "They were on sale, so I actually got four bottles of it. We can bathe for days if we want," he giggles softly.

Josh shrugs again, "Yeah."

"Come on. We can snuggle. It'll feel nice."

The elder nods slowly. Tyler stands up and patiently waits for Josh to pull himself up before gently grabbing his hand and guiding him to the bathroom.

-

It's rare that Josh is ever the little spoon, simply because Josh was the more dominant one in the relationship and, let's face it, Tyler would never pass up being kept warm by Josh's body being pressed against his.

But at times like this, Josh needed to be the one who is cradled and looked after.

The two sit in the bathtub, Tyler leaning against the smooth surface of the tub, Josh's head on his chest, the brunette's arms wrapped carefully around his shoulders. It's quiet, and Josh is grateful for that. He wasn't really in the mood for any type of noise.

He feels Tyler press a kiss to his hair before leaning closer to his ear with a soft whisper, "I love you, sweetheart."

Carefully reaching up, he grabs the brunette's hand and squeezes it gently, letting him know the feeling is mutual. Tyler squeezes back.

-

Lying on the couch, Josh hides his face in Tyler's neck, his arms wrapped securely around his waist as the brunette rubs his back and watches Family Guy, gentle kisses being felt on his neck every couple of minutes.

Tyler nuzzles his nose to Josh's head as he hugs him closer.

Having not heard the boy speak nearly all day, Tyler jumps slightly as he feels the hum of Josh's words.

"I'm so lucky."

"Why are you lucky?" Tyler asks, pausing the show.

"I've never dated anyone who takes care of me when I'm having a bad day. I'm usually the more 'in control' one in my relationships so they all expect me to not have feelings or something."

Tyler shuts his eyes sadly.

"But you don't care."

"Josh, everyone has feelings. Everyone has bad days; we don't ask for them. They're not our fault, and sometimes we can't help them. You deserve to be taken care of just as much as anybody else. That's what a relationship involves. Taking care of each other, loving each other when we need it most. I'm not just gonna abandon you when you need me."

Josh sniffles and hides his face more in the boy's neck, "I love you, Tyler."

"I love you too, Joshua."
