Tyler walks into the bedroom, and Josh gives him a look.
"What?"
"Not that I'm complaining, but why are you naked?"
"Why aren't you naked?" Tyler crosses his arms.
Josh shrugs.
Tyler grins, "You know what I haven't gotten from you in a while?"
"What?"
"A love bite," Tyler giggles, sitting on the bed and lifting Josh's leg to place over his lap.
Josh chuckles, "Well, I can change that if you want."
Tyler nods vigorously. Josh sits up and pecks Tyler's lips before moving to his neck.
"Wait, wait, wait."
"Where're you going?" Josh whines as Tyler rushes out of the room.
"Bathroom! Come on!"
Josh stands up and walks to the bathroom. He wraps his arms around Tyler's waist and nuzzles his nose in his neck.
"I have to get ready. Mark me while I brush my teeth."
Josh chuckles but does as he's told.
"What are you getting ready for?" He asks before immediately connecting his lips to the brunette's shoulder again.
"Oh, yeah. You have to get ready too."
"For what?" Josh asks again, biting his fiancé's neck and making him gasp.
"We're going taste testing."
"For what?" Josh repeats.
Tyler smiles, his toothbrush keeping his teeth from touching, "Our cake."
Josh stops kissing the boy's neck and looks up at him through the mirror with a smile, "I've been waiting for this day since I proposed."
Tyler laughs, "So you can eat cake?"
"All day."
Tyler laughs again before spitting into the sink and rinsing his mouth out. He turns slightly to look at his neck and sees a purple hue forming already. He looks at Josh and grins, "You should probably get changed if you wanna eat some cake then."
"But that's so much work," Josh pouts, falling forward slightly and resting his full body weight on the smaller boy.
"Josh! I can't carry you!" Tyler laughs, trying to push Josh up.
"Why?"
"'Cause you're so big!"
"Wow. Rude."
"Josh!"
"Okay, fiinneeugh!"
Josh stands up and Tyler smacks his chest. The elder grins and picks him up.
"My dick is on your belly," Tyler giggles.
"It's been higher up, I think I'm okay."
The younger boy lets out a giggle as he's carried to the bedroom.
-
"So I know you want half strawberry, half vanilla, but what do you want for like the frosting? Do you want buttercream, fondant, whip cream, cream cheese?"
"Buttercream."
Tyler writes that in his notebook.
"And since we're going with the sunflower theme, I kinda want sunflowers, like, surrounding the cake. How's that sound?"
"What do you mean by 'surrounding'?"
"Like if we get a two tier cake or something, I want it to have sunflowers on the first and second layer. I don't know how to explain it. I'll point one out if the shop has one. What do you want the cake to look like? Do we just want it white? Or do you want like...something else?"
"I'm fine with whatever, baby."
"No, please, Josh. I don't want this whole wedding to just be whatever I want."
Josh sighs softly, "What if we had like a tree bark effect? Like a birch tree."
"Ooh," Tyler hums, writing that down in his notebook.
Josh smirks, "I love you."
"I love you. What about the top piece? Do you want just two grooms, or do you want, like, a funny one? My cousin had this one where the bride was like dragging the groom by his jacket," the brunette says giggling.
"I don't know. I haven't thought about that. We'll look at some when we get inside."
Tyler looks out the window as they park in a parking spot. The two climb out of the car and connect hands instantly as they walk inside.
"Hello! I'm Kate. How can I help you two today?"
Tyler looks at Josh who speaks. "Hi. We'd like to...taste test?" He chuckles. "I'm not sure how to ask."
"Are you looking for wedding cake flavors?"
"Yes."
Kate laughs, "Alrighty. Do you have a reservation?"
"Yes. It should be under Dun."
The woman picks up a book from behind the counter and looks at today's date before smiling at the couple again, "Right this way."
Tyler looks around as Josh pulls him to follow her. The brunette stops suddenly, "Josh."
"Hm?"
"That's kinda what I was thinking."
Josh looks at the cake Tyler points to.
"Except with sunflowers instead of roses and maybe not as many. And without the ribbon."
Josh nods, "I like that."
"Really?"
"Yeah."
Tyler smiles and writes in his notebook before they walk over to where Kate is standing.
"Over here, we have the flavors of the cake. There we have the frosting, fondant, et cetera flavors. If you're looking for anything specific, don't hesitate to ask. Shall we get started?"
-
Tyler grins excitedly as he skips out to the car.
"Baby."
"Huh?"
"Are you excited?"
"I'm so excited! We have our cake, our frosting, I'm going dress shopping next week, it's so overwhelming but I couldn't be happier."
Josh laughs, "I'm glad."
"I can't wait until the wedding, Joshua."
"I can't either."
"Let's get married this year."
"What?"
Tyler stops walking as he feels his arm being tugged back by Josh. He looks at him, "What?"
"You wanna get married this year?"
Tyler shrugs, "Why not?"
Josh smiles slightly, "Really?"
Tyler smiles, "Yeah. Joshie, let's get married this year. October. Why not?"
"Why not?" Josh repeats, a wide grin forming on his face.
Tyler giggles as Josh pulls him into a hug, "We're getting married, Joshua."
"We're getting married, baby boy."
