The Secret

Positive. The pregnancy test said positive. The second that Veronica looked at it, she burst into tears. Luckily, Cheryl was there to comfort her.

"W-what am I gonna d-do? My dad's
g-gonna kill me!"

"Shhhh. Ronnie, everything is gonna be okay. We'll get through this, okay?"

After a little while, Veronica took the remaining tests. Test after test, positive after positive, she couldn't escape this reality. She was not ready to have a baby, let alone ready to tell Archie. Her, Cheryl, and Toni just sat there for awhile, and eventually they called over Betty and Josie. She wasn't ready to tell Ally, and she figured that she would just tell her at a different time.

"V, oh my God I'm so sorry."

"Thanks Betty." Veronica began to tear up again.

"It's just I have no idea what the hell I'm gonna do. I'm still gonna be pregnant when we graduate, but I-I just want all of this to go away."

"V, you just have to tell Archie. You don't have to do it right now, but I'm gonna tell you that we all have your back, and we'll be with you through all of this."

"Thank you guys so much. I don't know what I would do without you."

They all got close and wrapped each other into a big group hug. They just kind of stood there for a little bit, comforting Veronica, until Toni's phone buzzed.

"Thanks for ruining the moment whoever texted me."

The group let out a laugh, until Toni's face became worried.

"Cheryl and Betty, Sweet Pea just texted me and said there's an emergency and we have to get to the Wyrm. Cmon let's go."

The three of them ran out the door, while Josie and Veronica left shortly after that.

Cheryl, Betty, and Toni hopped into Cheryl's car and rushed down to the Whyte Wyrm. When they got in there, Toni was shocked. This was the biggest gathering of Serpents she had ever seen.

FP was on on the stage with a microphone, trying to calm everyone down.

"Everyone, settle down. So by now, everyone probably knows that our rival gang, The Ghoulies, are back in town. Their leader, a former Serpent, Penny Peabody, has been threatening us. Now I'm not gonna go into detail, but it's some pretty violent stuff. Now I just wanted to warn all of you, watch your backs. It would kill me if any of you got hurt."

Cheryl and Toni stood by the door, in a bar packed with older members, holding each other tightly, as FP continued.

"With that being said, my boy and I, and a couple of other members have made a plan. A plan to destroy The Ghoulies once and for a-"

Just as FP was about to reveal the plan, the door got kicked down. Standing there, was Penny Peabody, and a large number of Ghoulies.

"Hello Forsythe! Great to be back here, good times."

The bar fell silent.

"Boys, you know what to do."

Before Cheryl and Toni knew it, at least 30 men, of all ages, with the same leather jackets on, stormed into the bar. They started attacking Serpents left and right.

"Cheryl, Betty, come with me now. Let's go."

Toni grabbed them and they ran to hide behind the bar. While they were dodging fists, one of the Ghoulies grabbed Toni, and with no hesitation, punched her in the face and in the stomach.

"Toni!" Cheryl screamed.

Toni fell to the floor, writhing in pain. The Ghoulie continued to kick her while she was on the ground. Then, Cheryl ran over to her girlfriend, but before she even took 3 steps, another Ghoulie grabbed her. He punched her in the stomach with zero remorse, and she fell to the ground. He started to also kick her, and she almost blacked out from all the pain.

What they didn't know, is that Betty quietly slipped out the door to call the police. Soon enough, the police ran in, and the Ghoulies scattered quickly.

The next day, Cheryl woke up in the hospital. For the first few seconds, she had no idea where she was. She looked over, and Toni was in the hospital bed next to her. She looked down, and she was bruised all over.

Suddenly, the memories of the night before came rushing back. The large men rushing into the bar, beating all of the Serpents without mercy, the cops rushing in and taking down the Ghoulies that hadn't escaped.

After a few hours, and after Toni woke up, Betty came in with flowers.

"Oh my God guys, I'm so sorry about last night. There's some stuff you need to know though."

"What happened, is everything okay?"

"Well Sweet Pea and Jug are hurt pretty bad, and so was FP. But Fangs, he got the worst injuries out of everyone. He was trying to protect Sweet Pea, and he got kicked to the floor by multiple Ghoulies, and broke both of his arms. He also hadn't woken up yet, and he was bruised all over."

"Jesus Christ. Is everyone else okay?

"Well luckily nobody died, but almost no one left the Wrym yesterday without a scratch."

After their conversation, Betty left the room, and the nurse came in.

"Lucky for you both, you should only have to stay here for one more night. The sheriff also wanted me to tell you that all of the gang members that were in the bar last night that they caught, have been arrested. But the woman, Penny Peabody, and her right-hand man, Malachi, escaped the bar without a trace, and they are being pursued by law enforcement."

"Thank you."

When the nurse left, Cheryl started talking to Toni.

"TT, I'm so happy you're okay. I feel like I did something wron-"

"Cher, you didn't do anything. None of the Serpents did anything. It was the worst people on the planet, and they're all in prison. I love you Cheryl, and I'm so glad we're both safe."

"I love you too TT."
