Prom

A/N: hey y'all it's been a minute since i last updated lmao. and this might be the last update for awhile, but idk bc i'm actually getting the inspiration to write again lol. alsooo there might be a little falice in this chapter...

After a short ride in the limo, the group arrived at prom. When they got into the gym, they couldn't believe their eyes. Their old, school gym, had been transformed into a wonderland of lights and colorful streamers. The music was blaring, and they were ready to have fun.

Meanwhile, two of the parent chaperones, Alice Cooper, newly divorced, and FP Jones, were getting hot and heavy in the girl's bathroom.

"Jug, V and I are gonna go freshen up. We'll be back in a minute." Betty said to Jughead, as she kissed him, and left to go to the bathroom.

When Betty and Veronica went into the bathroom, they could hear the sounds of two people hooking up.

"Woah, someone's getting lucky already? We've been here for like 10 minutes!" Veronica said.

"Wait a minute V. Oh my God! Mom, what the hell!"

The noises instantly stopped and Betty and Veronica could hear whoever was in there get their clothes back on.

Soon enough, Alice walked out of the bathroom, her makeup was smudged and her hair was all over the place. Behind her, FP walked out, tying his tie.

"Elizabeth I'm so sorry. I didn't think anyone would come in here, and we just lost track of t-"

"You know what mom, I don't want to hear it. I'm staying at that hotel that me and my friends booked tonight, and we can talk about this tomorrow."

"Eliza-"

"Mom! Just leave me alone! I don't want to see you right now. Goodbye."

Betty stormed out of the bathroom, and Veronica followed her right away. When they were back in the gym, Betty broke down and hugged Veronica tightly. Jughead ran over when he saw his distraught girlfriend.

"Betts, what happened? Are you okay?"

"M-my mom, a-and your d-dad."

"Yeah? What about them?"

Betty continued to hyperventilate and she couldn't speak as Jughead was holding her in his arms.

Veronica continued for Betty, "Her mom and your dad, were like, hooking up in the bathroom when we went in there. I'm sorry Ju-"

Jughead grabbed Betty's hand, and practically ran back into the bathroom.

Meanwhile, Cheryl, Toni, Josie, and Sweet Pea were having the time of their lives back on the dance floor.

"You know TT, this is probably the best night of my life! I love this!" Cheryl basically screamed because the music was so loud.

"Cher, I love this too. And I love you so much." Toni pulled Cheryl in closer by her waist, and Cheryl pit her arms around Toni's neck as they swayed to the music.

"What the hell were you guys thinking?" Jughead yelled in anger, at his father and his girlfriend's mother. "Betty and I have been dating for almost three years, and God knows how long this has been going on!"

"Boy, we've been in love with each other since high school, and we both made the mistake of not telling each other how we felt."

"And Elizabeth." Alice said. "After your father went to prison, I was all alone. FP helped me so much, and I need you to respect my choices."

"Jesus Mom! You could have kept it in your pants until you guys left or something! Cmon Jug, don't let this ruin our night." Betty said, grabbing Jughead and going back to the gym.

After awhile, Betty, Jughead, Veronica, and Archie joined the rest of the group. They were all having a great time, dancing and laughing together. Suddenly, Mr. Wetherbee's voice came over the microphone.

"Welcome to Riverdale High's 2020 Senior Prom! It's time to announce our prom king and queen for this year."

Cheryl wanted to run for prom queen this year, but decided not to because she had already won Homecoming Queen. Instead, she had begged Veronica to run, and she did. She helped her hang posters all around school, but Veronica didn't think she was going to win, since she was pregnant.

"Okay everyone, quiet down. Riverdale High's 2020 prom queen is... Veronica Lodge! Congratulations, come up here and get your crown!"

Veronica stood there in shock, and went up to collect her crown.

"With that being said, Riverdale High's 2020 prom king is, Archie Andrews!"

Archie went up on stage and got his crown, and him and Veronica walked down together.

"As usual, your prom king and queen will dance together for the first slow song of the night."

Veronica and Archie got together and started dancing, and the rest of the school followed.

Cheryl and Toni were holding each other close, swaying along to the music.

"Toni, I love you so much. Tonight, at the hotel, I got us a room."

"Baby I love you too. And I'm especially excited for tonight." Toni said with a giggle.

After the slow song ended, the rest of prom went on, and the friends were having even more fun. Eventually, the music died down, and people started to leave.

After the group left in the limo, their bags packed for a night of fun at the hotel, they drove for about an hour to the hotel that was just outside of Riverdale.

After they checked in and went to their rooms, they all said good night as they were about to start the real fun.

A/N: sorry this chapter was kinda short and there really wasn't much choni, i just wanted to give some other characters representation too. trust me, next chapter is going to be wayyy better. oh and TYSMM FOR 2K READS OMG I ALMOST DIED THE OTHER DAY WHEN I SAW THAT HAHA
