Tension..Dread..Hatred..The angels and the demons eyed each other with dark expressions,as their need to put an end to the opposing species grew bigger and bigger.The sky darkened,as if sensing the immense confrontation that was yet to unfold at the border between the two realms.At that moment all that could be heard were their ragged breaths and the clenching of their teeth,the thirst for blood becoming too hard to surpress as the Demon King took a huge leap towards the Angel King with a sly smirk,ready to put an end to everything.
The angels gasped upon seeing the majestic creature flapping his huge,dark wings and finally stepping down on the ground,right in front of the Angel King.
Everyone seemed to have stopped breathing at the intensity between the two Kings as they eyed each other.The Angel clenched his jaw as he slowly pulled out his sword while being carefully watched by the other.The Demon suddenly began chuckling at the poor attempt and with a single glance he sent the sword flying.The demons and the angels took their fight stance,sensing that this was the beginning of the fight and the end of a species.
"It's on"
At the Demon King's words,his underlings went straight for the angels with fury in their dark eyes and with incredible speed and agility.The Angel King shouted in despair to his underlings,chanting a spell to protect them.
"Protection spell? That was the decision of a coward." the Demon King curled his lips into a smirk as he charged for the Angel with incredible strenght.
"You did not specify how we should fight.It seems fair enough to me." the Angel chuckled and dodged the attack with ease as he flapped his white,beautiful wings in the sky.
"I expected you and your underlings to fight like men.Looks I expected too much.You're angels after all." the Demon laughed darkly,flying towards the other as his fist slowly formed black mist.
"Demons are nothing but a disgrace to this world.Savage and thirsty for blood creatures that I should've eliminated a long time ago. Angels that betrayed us and became the creatures standing here at this moment." the Angel spoke in a mocking tone,infuriating the other.
"You and all of your stupid underlings will pay for everything.You call yourselves creatures of justice and well being.Bullshit.You sent us in the depths of hell without a single ounce of remorse and I'm here to do the same.Just an exception though..You won't ever come out."
The demons and angels stopped fighting as the Demon King's eyes darkened and the ground began shaking under their feet as it soon began cracking,swallowing dozens of angels.
Blood curling screams erupted from everywhere as the Demon King unleashed his true form.His dark wings became slightly red and blood flowed from his right eye,trickling down his cheek as the Angel King suddenly widened his eyes in horror,recognizing the power from within the other.
"Stop! You will die if you keep this up!" he shouted as the Demon King clenched his chest,gasping for air and eventually crashing down to the ground.
The Angel King flew down after the other reaching out his hand.
He finally caught it and pulled the Demon to his chest,coming to a halt once they stepped on the ground that was stained with the fresh blood of countless angels that were swallowed by it.
Only a few angels managed to escape from the deadly attack.
The demons rushed to their King with concerned faces.
"Geonhak!" a desperate voice called out as a demon pushed the others away and kneeled down in front of the unconscious King.The Angel eyed them carefully,not sure if he should take the Demon King to his realm to heal him or just let the demons take care of it.
