Chapter 36- Incredible

Hayes POV-

I want to tell Isabelle I know how upset she is and how much I care about her. She looks so scared and I can't get the words out to save my life.

"I- I just want you to know how much you mean to me." I start, "And back at the event I didn't mean to leave you there upset, and in sorry for it. I should've been there for you". I'm so sorry". I say sincerely as I look into her eyes.

"It's ok Hayes. I forgive you. It's just so hard to deal with the fans. I don't like it. But I know it's important to you and I'm willing to compromise." She says.

"I want to make it up to you. How much of a douche bag I've been lately. I've almost lost you twice within 24 hours. I just want it to be like our first week here." I respond.

She nods at me and a tear trickles down her face.

"You surely haven't made me happy within the last 24 hours, but I know you had a lot on your mind, so I tried to overlook it." She says barely able to get it all out.

Damn that hurts. Who have I been lately? I can't even make my own girl happy anymore.

I sit there speechless for a minute looking down at my hands. "I want to make you happy." I say.

She looks at me. Her eyes are green today, I've never seen them so green before. "We go back to school Wednesday, if we can be like we were before this stupid trip, we can forget about all of this. Deal?" she says.

"Perfect" I say. It wasn't a bad deal. I better work my butt off. "I'm glad we could talk, now we should do something involving our lips that isn't talking" I say with a wink.

"Sorry mr, you haven't earned it yet." She says.

The rest of the evening is spent packing up and chilling in the rooms. Isabelle looks as if she isn't as mad and I'm happy about that. But she isn't really talking to me as much as she is Nash.

I think it's weird, but I mean he was the only one there for her. Maybe she doesn't trust me fully yet. In some ways I think this trip ruined our relationship. But in others I think it grew.
