Chapter 23- Dancing in the stars

We all walk out of the hotel together and start walking around the town. Our hotel is on Times Square, and the view from our room is magnificent. We get our picture and then we start shopping. Nila and I have great time shopping, chad and Hayes eh not so much.

As we walk in the richer part of town with the upscale stores, we go into Tiffany and Co. I'm surprised with how much Hayes was interested. I wasn't really watching him though, I was more interested looking at the jewelry.

We walk out after a half hour of being in the store. We move on and visit other places. Hayes gets a phone call and him and chad walk off. I figure it has something to do with the tour. When they return a half later, it's been a crazy, fun filled day of shopping, and viewing items on Times Square. It's 6:00pm now and we decide to walk back to he hotel and get ready for a fancy dinner we have reservations for.

I touch up my make up, straighten my hair, and put on my navy dress with for hot pink Eiffel towers on it, pink sandals, and a few simple pieces of jewelry. I was ready, and just in time too. Hayes wore his hot pink shorts and his white button up from polo. He was so adorable.

We take a cab to the restaurant and get to our table. The restaurant is kind of like a grand party from the 1900s where you can go it the dance floor while you wait for your food. Hayes gets up and asks me to dance. I get up and we go over to the floor. Chad and Nila follow us sort of, but keep a distance. We slow danced to a a Shawn Mendes song called "The Weight", which made Hayes laugh. "I remember when I first met that dude" he says.

Once the song ends, he takes me over to the huge window which has a view of the whole city.

He gets down on one knee and takes my left hand.

"Isabelle, these weeks I've spent with you have made me the happiest person I've ever been. I wanted to let you know how much I love you." He says. He pulls out a Tiffany blue box. It's a silver heart necklace that has in scripted 'all the days of my life, I'll love you forever, Hayes'. I put my hands over my mouth. I'm in complete shock. A tear falls out of my eye. "It's completely perfect, I love you so much." I say. He stands back up and I hug him tightly. He puts the necklace on me and then Chad and Nila walk up holding a phone. They were in on it the whole time, and they were watching and taking a video. I want to live in this moment forever.

"What a darling moment for you two" Nila says.

We walk back up to the table. Our food comes out after that. Wow. Can things get even more perfect? When we finish eating we go it dance again. It's dark so it's like dancing by the stars and all the flashing lights.

Perfect day. Perfect moment. And an even more perfect Hayes.
