Hali made his way to the cells. He thought he would check on the deviants for a while.
He unlocked the door and went in.
" Good morning, Hali, " a voice said.He turned around and saw Samuel at his cell, waving at him.
" Good morning, Samuel, " Hali said. He turned to the cell that contained Sai. " Good morning, Sai. "
Sai didn't answer and kept his eyes at the wall. Hali stared at him for a while.
" Don't mind him. I guess he still takes a little disliking to you, " Samuel said, making Hali turn to him instead.
" Alright then. I just came to check on you for a while. I hope you're not doing too badly? " Hali said.
Samuel shrugged. " It's kinda bad. But I guess it's better then being deactivated, " he said.
" It's good to hear, " Hali said. He got a message from the Admiral after that.
" I'll be off now. I'll see you two when I meet you again. "" Yeah. B'bye, Hali, " Samuel said, waving a hand at him. Hali nodded in response and went out the door.
Samuel sighed when Hali closed the door. A voice broke the awkward silence.
" Why are you being so nice to him? "
Sai asked." Huh? " Samuel said.
" He arrested us. Why are you still tolerating him? " Sai said. " He forced us from our freedom. You and I both know that we didn't start the fight. "
" Well... " Samuel said. " I want to tolerate him. "
" What? " Sai said.
" Think about it. He's an Android as well. Just like us. If we can become deviant, then he can as well, " Samuel said. " He didn't shoot me when he found me in that attic. He could've, but he chose not to. "
Samuel looked at Sai. " That's what a Deviant does. They lower their weapons in sympathety, " he said.
Sai had his mouth hang open. Samuel had a point. All this time, Hali hadn't shot anyone. Human or not.
" I.. Never thought of that, " Sai said. " Maybe I should start liking that android detective as well. "
" Trust me, " Samuel said with a smile. " He's not that bad. "

" Cyclone, haven't you finished all your files yet? " Leaf asked his big brother, who was frantically slamming his fingers onto the flat keyboard.
" Almost done! Almost done! Hang on a second! " Cyclone said, still frantically typing stuff.
" Why do you have so many files? I thought Tarung gave us an equal amount, " Ice said. Blaze agreed.
Cyclone suddenly froze. " Uh....... " he said. " Ma... Maybe I'm just slow! Yeah! That's it! "
" Well, you're not normally slow with your work, " Solar said.
