Fang and Gopal were walking up the stairs with two bags of takeaways from McDonald's. They were about to enter the HQ when they heard strained shouts.
They turned around and saw the brothers and Hali running at their top speed towards the HQ.
" Guys?! " Fang called to them. They ran up the stairs and Quake ran into Fang.
" OOF! "
Quake and Fang were on the ground. Quake was trying to catch his breath by beating his chest over and over again.
" Woah, woah, woah! Easy there! " Gopal exclaimed. He held up Fang's share of the big takeaway bag. " These takeaways are precious y'know.... "
" Oh shut it, Gopal... " Cyclone huffed out. He bent down to help Quake up. Fang helped him too.
" You okay? " Fang asked Quake. Being too tired to talk, Quake just nodded to him.
" Alright. Gopal, can you carry that bag for me? I think I'm gonna make sure that these guys don't faint on their way to Tarung's office. "
Taking hold of Quake and Solar, Fang proceeded inside. But stopped when Quake gently nudged him.
" We.. Found... Hideout.. " he mumbled.
" Um.... " Fang said. " Save your energy, Earthquake. We'll get you guys inside and some water. "
...........
" So what happened? " Tarung asked.
The brothers fumbled with their water bottles. " Well... Um... " Leaf said.
" We... We found a hideout of deviants, " Solar said. Everyone in the room had their eyes wide.
" Par.... Pardon...? " Cici Ko said.
" We found an abandoned spaceship very far from here. It turned out to be a group of Deviants' hideout, " Quake said.
" How.. How did you find such a thing? " Tarung asked, anxious to hear what they had to say.
" Hali found the place. He.. He was able to track it down by... I don't know. The trail of blood was gone when we got there though, " Leaf said. He was still confused on how Hali could figure the place out.
" Professor Bora Ra should know these things. We can go ask him after this, " Cici Ko suggested.
" We can go. We're rested enough, " Quake said.
" Alright then. Have you found anything else? " Tarung asked. The brothers looked through their minds, then shook their heads.
" No, it all happened so fast, it was hard anything else that's bizarre to take place, " Blaze said. Ice nodded.
" .. Okay. You guys are taking the day off, " Tarung said.
" What?! "
" Why? " Solar asked.
" Yeah! Why do they get a day off? " Gopal said.
