Now or Never - A Josh Cuthbert/Union J Fanfic.

Chapter 10 - Blackpool.

The days went quick and the 8th arrived. The boys were travelling down overnight from Glasgow to Blackpool, but I was going today to stay in a hotel that night. Josh bought me hotel tickets, not too far away from the venue and the hotel they were staying in. He emailed me the tickets, and I had to start packing to leave. 

I got my suitcase out of the cupboard and started to pack. I wasn't going to be away for long, on the other hand, I needed to wear something good for the concert, especially because I was meeting the boys and seeing Josh again, as I hadn't seen him for a whole week! 

After I had finished packing, I loaded my suitcase into the boot of my car and got ready to leave. I phoned my Mum to tell her I was going to Blackpool and I would be back in two days. I was driving to Blackpool so firstly, I went to Tesco to get some petrol in my car and to buy some food to eat on the way. I bought a chicken mayo sandwich, a packet of cheese and onion crisps and a small chocolate bar with a bottle of still water - my favourites. 

On the way there, I blasted the radio as I drove down the motorway, the cold air whipping my face. I decided to put Key 103 on and Olly Murs was on. I was singing along to Hand on Heart, and once Olly was finished, Union J came on with their debut single Carry You. After that, Elyar's song A Billion Girls was played. This made me even more excited as it was only about 24 hours until I would be meeting Union J and Elyar Fox! 

The smell of the seaside danced its way up my nostrils as I eventually arrived in Blackpool. I loved it there and it always reminded me of those day trips here when I was only young with Mum and Dad. 

I arrived at the hotel, and booked in. The room was nice, it was a single bedroom but it was small and cozy. It was nearly 7pm, so there wasn't much to do. I decided to unpack and after I had unpacked, I realised I hadn't had any tea, so I went out to find somewhere to grab a bite. 

That night, I came home and got ready for bed, whilst texting Josh. They were on there way to Blackpool from Glasgow now and he said they would be arriving at approximately 8am so it wasn't long till I got to see him! And he told me I could pick up my pass from 8am on-wards the next day at the box office. Yay! I was so excited! 

The next morning, I woke up to my phone ringing; I answered it and it was Josh. 

"Josh, it's like the middle of the night." I moaned down the phone, half asleep. 

He laughed and replied with, "It's 8 o' clock Cheryl. We're booking into our hotel in Blackpool now. I was wondering if you wanted to do something today seen as we have ages till the show?" 

"Yeah, that sounds good, where we going to go?" I asked him. He told me he had tickets for Blackpool Pleasure Beach so I told him I would meet him at 9. 

Quickly, I got out of bed and jumped in the shower. I then did my hair, make-up and got dressed and saw that it was quarter to. I got my bag ready and left the hotel to meet Josh at 9. At 9, I saw him arrive at the place we decided to meet as we both knew where it was. 

We got in Josh's car and drove to Pleasure Beach as it was a 15 minute ride to get there. He starts talking about what rides he wanted to go on, when I told him that I was scared of rides. I was always scared of rides since I was kid, because I was always paranoid that I would fall out and die. 

As we pulled into the car park, Josh said "Don't worry babe. I'll be with you every step of the way, you don't have to be scared Hun." I smiled. He was such a cutie and I loved him so much. 

The first ride we went on was Valhalla. We sat next to each other and I screamed as it went from hot to cold and back again. I was really scared, especially when it was really dark and we dropped backwards. By the time we got off, we was both soaked and Josh was worried because his hair was a mess from the water! He was so funny and I kissed his head and told him his hair looked perfect just the way it was. He smiled and we kissed - it was amazing. 

After that, we went on Avalanche which was really funny. Josh sat at the back and I sat in front of him and he hugged me as I was scared. He put his arms around me and held me tightly whilst kissing my head. But after we got off it, I had to admit, it was really fun! 

Next, we decided to go on the Big Dipper followed by Grand National which were both really fun. In due course, we arrived at Tango Ice Blast and Josh forced me on it so after a half an hour queue, we were sat on the tango ice blast and even Josh was scared. It shot up in the air, I was holding Josh's hand and my other hand was holding on to the hand grip, holding on for dear life. I felt like I was going to be sick, but overall it was really fun and I was proud of myself for going on it, and our picture was hilarious. We decided to both buy the picture on a keyring as it was a great picture. 

Later, we went on the Wild Mouse which was really painful but fun at the same time, and then we went and got something to eat. We had chicken and chips in one of the fast food places and once we had finished, Josh decided he wanted to go on the really scary rides. So off I followed him towards the Irn Bru Revolution ride and he forced me on it even though he knew I hated going upside down. I held onto Josh's hand the whole way through and after we came off, Josh told me we had time for one last ride, and he had left the best till last! 

We arrived at the ride, and I realised that Josh was about to take me on the Big One. I was terrified, nevertheless, I went on and overcame my fears. Josh had to calm me down on the way up as I was nearly crying but overall it was so much fun. 

Furthermore, it was nearly 3pm and Josh had to be at the venue to do meet and greets for 5:30pm, so we finally made our way back to our hotels. Josh drove me to the hotel I was staying in. 

"I'll see you later then, just go to the box office and tell them you are collecting the ticket for Graham Browne, its my dad's name." He said looking at my confused face. 

"I'll miss you, although I get to see you soon looking beautiful at the concert. The boys can't wait to meet you by the way!" He told me and I could feel myself blushing. I went up to my hotel room to get ready for the concert. I was so excited and it was only 2 hours to go until I got to meet the boys!
