Now or Never - A Josh Cuthbert/Union J Fanfic.

Chapter 21 - Smile Because You Can.

George had crashed at my place that night as we both comforted each other. Next morning, we was both woken up by the sound of George's phone ringing. One of his friends Asami from Neon Jungle had asked him to attend her party that night and for him to bring someone along with him. 

He asked me to come with him and I agreed straight away. I had never been to a proper party before never mind a party which would be full of famous people! Asami - I loved Neon Jungle and had always wanted to meet them and now I was going to her party! Wow. 

After we had got ready, George drove us there as he knew where it was being held. When we arrived, I saw that JJ, Jaymi, Olly, Cat and Josh were there aswell. They were stood outside talking and me and George speed-walked straight into the house: if you could call it a house, it was more like a mansion! 

The girls from Neon Jungle were stood at the door greeting everybody. I got my phone out and George took a picture of me with them all. I tried to stop myself fangirling but I started crying. Asami (who was my favourite) gave me a bear hug and it was the most amazing thing ever.

Half an hour later, the party started properly. The music was blasted and everyone was dancing or snogging someone against a wall. I guess this is what parties were like - not as good as everyone made out. All the people dancing and the smell of alcohol made me feel stuffy so I decided to go outside to get some air. 

Behind me I could hear footsteps and I turned around to see Josh; he was really heavy-footed. When I stop, he walks over to me and I can feel butterflies in my stomach. He was so beautiful; perfect in every way. 

"Cheryl... Can we talk please?" He asked me and I nodded. 

He started, "Look, I'm sorry about the newspaper article. You have to get used to famous people. The slightest thing is in the newspapers. Them paparazzi's make a living out of taking pictures of celebs like me and putting them in newspapers. They make a story out of nothing to make some extra dough. I'm so sorry and I've spoke to George about everything that happened between you two. But if you love him it's fine, I'd just rather know." 

"Josh. I fucking love you. I don't even know what happened with George that day. As soon as it happened, I knew I would regret it for the rest of my life. Yes George is a good looking chap and he's a nice person but he's not like you. You're different Josh. When I'm not with you, I miss you and when I'm lay in bed at night, I wish you were there with me to hug me. And when I'm sad, I just think about your smile or listen to you singing and it instantly makes all my problems go away. You mean the entire world to me and without you I'm nothing. Please, can we just put all this behind us and have things the way they were before all of this? I miss you Josh." I told him tears falling from my eyes as I pleaded.

Josh walked towards me and wiped my tear from my face. "I love you too Cheryl." And our lips softly touched. Everything was fine again. And I was glad.  

We happily walk back into the party holding hands and everyone looks at us, looking cheeful for us. Josh goes to speak to JJ and I go to speak to George - as me and Josh agreed we can be good friends as long as it was nothing else. I walk over to him where I see him holding hands with Asami and this made me smile.

Updated again because I'm in a good mood. I saw the boys today at the Trafford Centre Christmas Light Switch on. They were amazing and sang Carry You, Skyscraper, Beautiful Life,  Tonight (We Live Forever). I love them so much and they were fab. Josh<3
