i was born in Central Coast, Australia, 1994. i had an older brother, Harry, who started school before i was born. while he was there, he befriended another boy called Jarrad.
the two became inseparable, always going round each others houses. because of this, my parents and jarrads parents also became friends seen as though they were always seeing each other.
they all became so close, that they would be spending time with each other every weekend.
coincidentally, my mum and jarrads mum both fell pregnant within a short time of eachother. before we were even born, they planned for us to be friends from the start.
october 1994. i was born. of course jarrads parents were there shortly after the birth to see me and it was the first time i, sort of, met my future best friend, although they still hadn't been born.
december 1994. jarrads little brother was born. not long after, my parents, brother and i went down to see him.
that was the first time i ever came face to face with lannan, although he didn't even have his eyes open and neither of us could remember it, obviously.
after we were born, our parents still continued to visit each other every weekend, bringing myself and lannan with them.
we did everything together. spending all day at school together once we were a bit older and continuing to spend more time together after school.
he was my best friend.
