i've been at school without lannan for 2 months now. every day without fail, he would wait outside the gates for me and we would walk back home together.
today, i had a really tough day, having to catch up with a lot of work and i was really looking forward to seeing my best friend.
i walked out the doors and looked towards the gates. as usual, lannan was stood there, patiently waiting on his phone.
he didn't see me approaching him. i crept up next to him and quickly swiped his phone from his hands and ran away.
"hey!" he shouted, laughing and running after me
i didn't run for very long. i got too out of breath and the boiling heat didn't help either. he grabbed my arms, bringing me to a stop.
"can i have that back?" he smiled
"i don't know what you mean?" i replied
"ummm, my phone?"
"oh that? i dropped it down there" i smiled
"you what?" he said, turning around to see if he could see it
i held his phone out in front of him and he took it from me, smiling.
we carried on walking back towards home.
"i really miss you at school" i said
"i miss you too. can't believe i'm saying this, but i'm actually really bored without school"
"what are you even doing all day?" i asked
"just helping my dad with his construction shit. i film it quite a lot, like me doing random stuff"
"what do you do with the videos then?"
"just show it to people, like tannar but she gets bored half way through" he laughed
"isn't there a website you could put them on or anything?" i asked
"unfortunately not. wish there was though, i love making them" he sighed.
