Being grounded was a different experience.

I've never been grounded, so I didn't know what it felt like... but it was... different...

"Morning Evanna!" Andrew barged into my room.

I rolled onto my stomach. "Lemme...sleep..."

"Dad wants you down," he said, walking towards me.

"Question," I muttered. "What do you do when you're grounded?"

Andrew laughed. "You've never been grounded before?"

"Because I didn't have a reason to be," I answered, rolling off the bed.

Literally.

I hit the floor and winced as pain shot through my arm. "Ow..."

"So basically, you can't use any electronics, and you have to stay home. Unless school, in which case you come straight back from school and you're not allowed to hang out with anyone."

"You must be an expert at this," I said, getting up slowly. "This is all about Matthew, isn't it?"

Andrew smiled. "You know me so well."

"Well, I don't need my phone, and besides, I'm staying home anyways... I don't really find the point because I don't have any friends either so..."

I walked in the bathroom and grabbed my toothbrush. I started brushing my teeth after tying my hair in a bun.

"Do you only wear hoodies?" Andrew questioned.

I nodded. "Mhm."

"Why?"

"Behau is comfoable," I tried saying.

Andrew laughed. "Anyways, I'm sure you have friends—"

I shook my head.

"Matthew?" Andrew asked. "Ugh, why does he get on my nerves so much every time I see him I want to punch him in the face. I mean, he kissed you. And he knows where you live."

Andrew sighed. "Man, being overprotective is fun."

I playfully rolled my eyes as I finished up brushing my teeth. After, I washed my face and grabbed a towel. "When will you get over the fact he kissed me?"

"Probably never," he said, grinning.

"Me too," I teased. "He kissed me. He actually kissed me."

Andrew groaned. "Just hurry up, shortie."

I whipped around. "Fight me."

Andrew stared at me. "What?"

I walked up to him. "I'm not that short compared to..." I walked away almost immediately. "Nevermind."

He started laughing. "Aw, you're so cute."

"Aw, ha ha, so cute," I said, sarcastically. "Hilarious."
