Chapter seven: Black and white, Yin and Yang

When I looked outside the window, I found something completely horrifying! Those black and white bears, they're attacking the school! 'There's no way in hell this is good' I thought as I rushed to the old short lady who's dancing on the desk, I grabbed her by the shirt, I was now face to face with her.

"What class is Komaru Naegi in?!" I asked lowly, trying to hide my panicked voice. "She's in class 2-B, can you let go of me so I can continue dancing?" She asked. I sighed and let her go, before I went upstairs I slammed on the security buttons guarding all the entrances with metal fences, and quickly made my way to the second floor.

I rushed into the room to see every student, except Komaru, dancing around the classroom. I gave an eye roll before walking up to her and tapping her on the shoulder to get her attention. She turned around and looked at me giving a sigh of relief

"(y/n)! Thank god its you!" She exclaims. I give her a soft smile, it wasn't too long until that smile dissolved into a frown. "Hey, do you know what the hell is going on?" I ask, she gives me a shrug and a look of confusion. I tell her to look outside. She gave me a skeptical look, but she does. After she saw what I did, she gasped and closed the blinds of the classroom, then hurriedly walked back to me.

"How the hell did they get here?!" She whispered in a panicked tone. "How am I supposed to know?! This just happened when I came to pick you up!" I exclaimed back. She sighed and sat down on a table. "We're in trouble, we don't really know how to defend ourselves against these things!" Komaru was obviously panicking. "Ms. Kirigiri never bothered?!" I asked. "She said just avoid them!"

Before I could reply Komaru's teacher came and swept her off her feet and started dancing with her, Komaru looked like a rag doll at the moment. I laughed at her vulnerability. She pulled away and started yelling at her, without knowing that it was useless, the teacher continued dancing and told Komaru that she could use the bathroom.

I help her down the desk. "As much as you want to help everyone to safety, its pointless, do you think they would be panicking instead of dancing when the emergency alarm went off?" I ask. Before she can reply a crash came from the other side of the room, I look up and Komaru turns around to see a black and white bear attacking a male student.

Once they boy realized what the hell was going on, he screams out in pain and starts begging for help. Since Komaru and I were the only ones not stuck in the trance everyone else was in. We sprung into action and ran to the boy who was being ravaged by the black and white animatronic.

Komaru was trying to push the robotic creature off the building, while I was trying to save the victim from his doom. "Hey kid! If you want to stay alive you're going to have to help!" I scolded. After he heard what I told him, he was trying to get out of the bear's grasp.

After a long while of the class dancing, and us trying to save the boy, we finally did. It took a lot of pulling and grease, but we finally did it. Due to exhaustion we were all kneeling on the ground.

"Thank you guys. I would've been dead if you didn't help me." The boy said gratefully. "Well no shit, besides, we've been doing most of the work." I panted. Komaru laughed a little then spoke. "It won't be safe since the momokumas now have an opening." I gave her a glare. "Well no shit! I think that's pretty obvious." I say glaring at her. She gulped and scooted away.

I sighed and got up. "Well being here and acting like sitting ducks, ain't going to get us nowhere." I say. The boy that Komaru and I saved looked at us like we were insane. "You've got to be kidding me! Did you or did you not see that thing that tried to eat me?!" The boy exclaimed. I rolled my eyes and looked at him. "What's your name kid?" I asked.

He gulped then spoke. "Asahina Yuta." I gave him a reassuring smile. "Look Yuta, this has been going on for awhile, you were just in a trance, but I recommend you stay quiet about this for the sake of the public. For now, lets focus on getting everyone to safety." I say helping Yuta off the ground. "Since you two attend this school, do you know if you guys have an evacuation center or a room that you think these things can't break into?"
