So it was a perfectly normal day. I was taking a break from writing my new book and reading now fan fiction on the interwebs. My 14 year old self was happy with reading other peoples stuff instead of my own. I was laying on my bed reading of my new apple laptop. The aqua cheetah print bedspread looked great against my sky blue jean shorts and white t-shirt. That was when I got the call. It was my boyfriend. Why is he calling me? It was like 8 at night. Normally my phone was off my now. Weird I thought. I picked up the phone, “What’s up?” I ask.

“Ally? Ally, are you listening?” it was his mom.

“Ya, I’m here. What’s wrong?”  I ask. He normally guards his phone with this life, why does his mom have it.

“Austin locked himself in this room after we stopped him from killing himself,” she said. She was almost sobbing. I knew Austin had been battling with severe depression, but killing himself...

“I’ll be there right away,” I say, “Don’t worry.” Then I hang up the phone.
