"So, where is Tom taking you two?" My mom asks as she slides the roasting pan into the oven.

"Boy won't even tell me," I giggle, "He wants it to be a surprise." I move to grab the rolls from the bread drawer, noticing the note on the counter from my Dad saying that he would pick up Tom from the airport knowing that I had been busy preparing for the two week long vacation with little to no distractions. It is going to be a nice break from everything.

"Nikki called and said that he has been asking and talking to her nonstop about it, but she won't share anything with me until you two leave tomorrow."

"Damn, even Mum knows?" I laugh, moving to set the table so the five of us can eat. "Is (Y/B/N) coming tonight?"

"No, he had to work late, so it'll just be the four of us," my mom states as she gets the pan that has the steaks on them while I grab the last plate. "Do you want to put these on or should I?"

"I can get them," I say, reaching out for the pan and taking them out through the garage to the backyard where the grill has been heating. I carefully place the steaks on the grill and go inside to grab a beer, the way dad always does. After about ten minutes, the garage door begins to open, revealing my dad's car with him and Tom in the front seat. Tom waves frantically making me giggle as he jumps out of the car to run over to me.

"Hey!" he exclaims as I throw myself into his arms, my arms wrap around his neck and my legs around his torso. He laughs as he grabs my right thigh to keep me in place and his other arm wraps tightly around my back. He lets out a small groan as he sways us from side to side. "This is definitely what I needed after not seeing you for months," he mutters into the skin of my neck, pressing a lingering kiss there.

"Me too, Thomas," I whisper into the side of his head. I peek behind him to see my dad pulling Tom's suitcase out of the trunk of his car, he's smiling at Tom and I. "Daddy, the steaks are on the grill, do you want me to keep watching them or do you wanna take over?"

He laughs at me, shaking his head at my position, "I can take over. How long have they been on?"

"About ten minutes," I say, tapping Tom's arm in a way to tell him that I wanted down. Tom helps me back to the ground before turning toward my dad.

"Thanks, (Y/D/N), for picking me up and grabbing my bag," he chuckles, taking the bag from him. I dig in my pocket and hand him my keys so he can place his bag in my car, the Iron Spider Funko Pop keychain bumping against the inside of his palm. Tom looks at me and rolls his eyes playfully at me, "I guess you want me to put my suitcase in your car?"

"Well, I'm not going to do it." I tease, folding my arms across my chest while smirking at him. He looks me playfully before placing his bag on the ground, throwing me over his shoulder; re-grabbing his bag before walking out to my car. "Tom, put me the fuck down!" I squeal as he walks toward my car, my dad laughing loudly behind us. Tom unlocks and opens my trunk to set his bag inside easily. "TOM!"

"Okay, okay. One second, bug." Tom laughs. When he sets me down, he gives me a big cheeky grin before pulling me into another hug, running his hand up and down my back. "I'm so happy we are taking this vacation together."

"Me too, but I am still curious on where we are going-"

"Nope, that's a surprise." He states, smiling at me, tugging me back inside to see my mom.

She smiles at us when we walk in, "Tom! How was your flight?" she asks, walking over to him to pull him into her embrace.

"The flight was fine, (Y/M/N), I'm just glad to be back." Tom states squeezing my mother back.
