Shaw & Samuel walked up to Shaw's car when a man approached them.

Man-''Excuse me, are you Detective John Shaw?''

Shaw-''I am. Can I help you?''

Man-''My name is Keith. I'm an old friend of your fiancé, Y/N.''

Shaw-''Oh, ok. How do you and Y/N know each other?''

Keith-''We use to work together at the vet. I took a job overseas to work with abandoned animals and now I'm back.''

Shaw-''Have you seen Y/N yet?''

Keith-''Not yet. Is she still working at the same vet?''

Shaw-''She is.''

Keith-''Maybe I'll see her tomorrow.''

Then Sam started growling at Keith.

Shaw-''Sam, calm down.''

Keith-''Well, it was great meeting you.''

Keith smiled and walked away as Shaw kneeled down next to Sam.

Shaw-''Hey, what's wrong buddy?''

Sam just stared at Keith as he walked away.

Shaw-''I know you don't like strangers. Come on, let's go home.''

Shaw and Samuel got in the car and went home.

Nick

Nick and Jay were packing equipment into the back of the ambulance van as a man approached them.

Man-''Excuse me, are you Nick Malloy?''

Nick-''I am. Who are you?''

Man-''I'm Kevin.''

They shook hands as Jay looked at them.

Kevin-''I'm an old friend of your fiancé. I just got back into town recently and I heard she was engaged.''

Nick-''Oh. How do you and Y/N know each other?''

Kevin-''We studied together in college. We were close but lost touch when we got jobs in different states.''

Nick-''Ok. Well, Y/N won't be too busy tomorrow. So, maybe you can see her during her lunch break.''

Kevin-''Alright. Maybe I'll see her then. Well, it was great meeting you.''

Nick-''You too.''

Kevin smiled and walked away.

Jay-''Doesn't that guy just give you the creeps?''

Nick-''Jay, everyone gives you the creeps when you meet them.''

Jay-''True.''

Nick closed the van's backdoors.

Jay-''Even you gave me the creeps when I met you.''

Jay mumbled.

Nick-''What was that?''

Jay-''Nothing! Let's go to work.''

Jay rushed over to the driver's side and got in the van as Nick just smiled.

Jake

Jake walked out of the bar after dropping you off when a man on a motorbike drove up to him.

Man-''Hey, are you Jake Carter?''

Jake-''I am. Who's asking?''

Man-''I'm Alonzo. Are you engaged to Y/N?''

Jake-''I am. Do you and Y/N know each other?''

Alonzo-''We were close friends before she moved to this little town.''

Jake-''She never mentioned she had biker friends.''

Alonzo-''We were like brother and sister. I was hoping she wouldn't forget me.''

Jake-''Well, if you knew what she's been through the last 6 months...you'd be happy if she does remember you at all.''

Alonzo-''What happened?''

Jake-''She suffered a head injury and lost her memory for about 3 months.''

Alonzo-''Oh, man. Do you think she'll remember me?''

Jake-''If you two were as close as you say you were...then I think she will.''

Alonzo-''I always protected her like a big brother.''

Jake-''Why don't you go in and talk to her?''

Alonzo-''Maybe when she's not too busy working. I gotta go.''

Alonzo started his bike.

Alonzo-''Nice meeting you, Jake.''

Jake-''You too.''

They shook hands. Alonzo drove off.
