You smiled nervously at Shaw & Emma as they started going down the sidewalk.

You-''Be careful.''

You whispered as they kept going down the sidewalk.

Emma-''Am I doing good, Daddy?''

Shaw-''You're doing great, Emma.''

They went all the way to the corner of the street.

Shaw-''Ok, let's make a turn and go back to Mommy.''

Emma-''Ok!''

Shaw & Emma turned on the corner and started heading back towards you as you smiled at them.

Emma-''This is fun!''

Shaw lets go of the back of the seat, but kept his other hand on the handle to make sure Emma felt safe.

Shaw-''We're almost back to Mommy.''

Emma-''Hi, Mommy!''

You waved at Emma. Then they rode up to you and you kneeled down.

Emma-''Mommy, did you see me?!''

You-''I did! I'm so proud of you, sweetie.''

You & Emma hugged as Shaw kneeled down next to both of you.

Emma-''Can we go again?''

Shaw-''Sure.''

You-''Can I go with you two this time?''

Emma-''Yeah!''

Emma got off her bike.

Emma-''I gotta go to the bathroom.''

Emma ran off into the house.

You-''Thank you for not letting her go, Shaw.''

Shaw smiled.

Shaw-''No problem. I thought she would tell me to let go at some point. And I thought about letting her go, but I didn't want her to feel sad because I let her go.''

You ran your fingers through Shaw's hair.

You-''She's Daddy's little girl. She's always gonna wanna know that you'll never let her go.''

Shaw smiled.

Shaw-''And that I'll always be there for her.''

Shaw kissed you as Emma came back.

Shaw-''There she is!''

Emma-''I'm back!''

You-''Ok, let's ride!''

All of you smiled.

Nick
You stood next to Jay as Nick looked at Jack.

Nick-''Ready, buddy?''

Jack-''Yep!''

Nick-''Ok, here we go.''

Nick & Jack went riding down the sidewalk.

Jack-''Yay!''

Nick smiled.

Jay-''So, when exactly is Jack gonna ride on his own?''

You-''When he's older.''

Jay-''How much older? When he's 21?''

You playfully glared at Jay making him chuckle.

You-''Very funny, Jay.''

Jay-''I'm just saying....Jack will need to ride by himself soon. He has to fall in order to learn how to get back up. That's just life.''
