Easter Egg Hunting (4 Years)

Shaw
You & Shaw hid easter eggs all over the front lawn for Emma to go find. Sam & Tommy were in the backyard when you & Shaw took Emma out on the front porch.

You-''Here you go, sweetie.''

You gave Emma her brown basket.

Emma-''Where are the eggs?''

She asked smiling.

Shaw-''You gotta go find them, babygirl.''

You-''Yeah. The Easter Bunny wants you to find them all.''

Emma-''Ok!''

Emma walked down the front steps and starting hunting for easter eggs as you & Shaw smiled at her.

You-''Do you think we hid them too well?''

Shaw-''No. She's got a detective's blood running through her veins.''

You smiled.

Shaw-''She'll find them all.''

Shaw kissed your forehead.

Emma-''I found one!!''

You-''Great job, sweetie!!''

Emma smiled.

You-''How many eggs did we hide again?''

Shaw-''10.''

You-''Ok. I hope she's counting.''

Emma kept hunting for more eggs until she found them all.

Emma-''Mommy! Daddy!''

Emma run up onto the porch as you & Shaw kneeled down in front of her.

Emma-''I found 10 easter eggs!''

Shaw-''That's great, babygirl.''

You-''The Easter Bunny will be so proud of you.''

Emma smiled as you kissed her cheek.

Nick
You were in the hallway with the kids who were staying in the hospital as Nick walked up to you with Jack.

Nick-''Hey, honey.''

You-''Hi.''

Nick kissed your cheek.

Nick-''Are the kids ready to go?''

You-''They sure are. You ready to go easter egg hunting, kids?!''

Kids-''YEAH!''

You-''Let's go!''

You & Nick took Jack and all the kids out into the hospital garden.

You-''Ok, kids. Go find as many easter eggs as you can!''

The kids ran off and you gave Jack his brown basket.

You-''Ok, Jack. Go find as many easter eggs as you can, ok?''

Jack-''Ok, Mommy.''

Jack ran off.

Nick-''You alright, honey?''

You-''Yeah. I'm just glad these kids can feel normal for a while seeing as they're staying in hospital for a while.''

You looked at Nick sadly.

You-''But I feel bad for those who can't even leave their hospital beds.''

Nick-''I know, honey.''

Nick kissed your forehead.

After the hunt was over, all the kids went back inside and all the nurses took the children back to their rooms.

You, Nick & Jack walked up to the receptionist desk.

You-''We're gonna go home now, Jack.''

Jack-''Mommy?''

You & Nick looked down at Jack as he held his basket full of easter eggs.

You-''Yes, Jack?''

Jack-''Can I go to all the kids who couldn't hunt with us and give them an easter egg?''

You-''Oh, my-''

You kneeled down in front of Jack.

You-''Jack, that is so sweet. Of course you can.''

Jack-''Thank you, Mommy.''

Nick-''Alright, kiddo. Let's go visit the other kids.''

You smiled as you, Nick & Jack walked off to see the other kids. You couldn't help but get emotional when you saw how Jack was cheering up all the children.

You-''I'm so proud of him.''

Nick-''Me too.''

You both smiled at your son.

Jake
You, Jake, Amanda & Lily took Skyler to the park where other kids were all hunting for easter eggs.

You-''Ok, sweetheart. Here's your basket.''

You handed Skyler her brown basket.

You-''Go find as many easter eggs as you can, ok?''

Skyler-''Ok, Mommy!''

Skyler ran off.

You-''I hope she finds some. Who knows how many eggs are out there.''

Jake-''I'm sure there's plenty for all these kids.''

Amanda-''Y/N, I remember easter egg hunting with Jake & Lily. Jake was terrible at it!''

You laughed.

Jake-''Hey! I was great at hunting for easter eggs.''

Lily-''More like great at stealing my easter eggs!''

Jake-''It's called hunting for a reason. Not my fault you couldn't hide them very well in your room.''

Lily playfully punched Jake's arm.

Jake-''Ouch!''

They laughed.

Amanda-''How about you, Y/N? Any easter memories?''

You-''My dad would take me easter egg hunting as a kid. He'd bring me to the park like this with other kids.''

Jake kissed your head.

You-''He wanted me to hunt with other kids because I don't have any siblings.''

Jake-''Well, you gained 2 sisters when you married me.''

You-''I sure did.''

You all smiled.

Then Skyler ran up to all of you.

Skyler-''Mommy! Daddy!''

You & Jake kneeled down in front of her.

Skyler-''I found some easter eggs!''

You-''How many did you find?''

Skyler-''I got 5 already!''

Jake-''Great job, sweetheart.''

Skyler-''I'm gonna go find some more!''

Skyler ran off.

You-''I should make a dentist appointment for her after this.''
